TWD: A New Beginning From the End of the World

Chapter 584: The Mask

The imposing figure of Airon, leader of the powerful organization S.C.T., stood tall in the open space. As he surveyed the surroundings, observing how nature had rapidly changed in recent years, Elizabeth walked alongside him. She was the leader of CRM, an equally influential and mysterious organization.

Airon frowned as he saw her walking beside him, but he maintained his composure and invited her to appreciate the surrounding place. The atmosphere became tense as the two leaders studied each other, aware of the power and influence that each possessed.

Elizabeth broke the silence, her voice soft yet firm resonating in the room. "Airon, the past few days have been challenging for everyone. Our resources are depleted, and our followers struggle to survive in this desolate world. We face an uncertain future and must make difficult decisions."

"How can we eliminate communities with thousands of people?" Airon sarcastically smiled and pointed at Elizabeth. "You know, my organization has even tried to save the worst devil that this damn world has created, and sometimes we succeed, while other times we fail..."

"Now, we both know each other perfectly well, so don't give me sermons about not having resources when you eliminate entire communities based on your strange course of action."

Airon sighed, acknowledging the truths in her words. "I'm aware of the difficulties we face. But you must understand, Elizabeth, that S.C.T. will not bow down to any other organization. We have fought and sacrificed too much to get here, so you should know that none of my men would be influenced by your twisted system that CRM adheres to."

Elizabeth remained calm, her piercing gaze meeting Airon's eyes. "I understand your position, Airon. But we must consider the well-being of humanity as a whole. There cannot be two orders that endanger the world. I won't allow it, even if I have to eliminate your organization."

Elizabeth's words hung in the air, charged with authority and coldness. Airon shifted to the side, his expression serious. "Elizabeth, we have worked tirelessly to protect and aid those in need. We are not here to usurp power or sow chaos. Our mission is to restore hope and justice in a torn world."

Elizabeth remained undeterred. "I understand your intention, Airon, but our paths diverge. If we continue down this path, we will only provoke more conflict and suffering. We must find a peaceful and collaborative solution."

Airon took a deep breath, seeking serenity amidst the tension. "Elizabeth, I am willing to negotiate, but S.C.T. will not dissolve. Together, we could work harmoniously, leveraging our resources and knowledge to ensure a better future, but the policies of both organizations must be structured differently."

The two leaders stared at each other, evaluating the proposal. It was a crucial moment, a turning point in the destiny of humanity. Airon and Elizabeth knew that their decisions would have a lasting impact on the remaining world.

After a long silence, Elizabeth finally nodded with a serene gesture. "Very well, Airon. I accept your offer of collaboration. Together, we can find a way to unite our forces for the common good, but you must come to my home for these proposals to be discussed."

A sense of relief and hope filled the hearts of those around them. One misstep, and thousands of people would be pitted against each other.

The soldiers of both CRM and S.C.T. knew that there was a long road ahead, but they were ready to face the challenges that lay before them.

In that moment, Airon and Elizabeth realized that, despite their differences, they shared a common vision: the survival and prosperity of humanity. United, they had the opportunity to forge a new future, one where cooperation and compassion could prevail over despair and discord.

With that thought in mind, Elizabeth invited Airon to the CRM base to begin charting the first steps of an alliance that would change the course of the remaining world after the apocalypse.

...

Airon, looking at Elizabeth with a smile, thought, "Do they really think I'm a fool?"

Confronting two such large organizations head-on would mean the end of the future, but Airon would not allow the CRM and its policies to merge with his organization under any circumstances.

He was merely using his sense of duty and care to destroy CRM without unnecessary deaths.

After the collaboration agreement with CRM, Airon concealed his true plan under a facade of cooperation. From the perspective of others, he genuinely seemed to be integrating himself with the rival organization, but in reality, he patiently awaited the opportune moment to carry out his true purpose.

During the following months, Airon worked tirelessly to earn the trust of CRM's leaders. He participated in strategic meetings, shared valuable information, and collaborated on joint operations. All of this allowed him to gain profound knowledge about CRM's key bases and strengths.

Meanwhile, Airon established a network of loyal followers within S.C.T. since the beginning of the apocalypse – those who shared his vision and were willing to carry out any order he gave. With their support, he began meticulously planning the destruction of CRM's command center and its most important bases.

Airon knew he needed to demonstrate his military might to give CRM a definitive proof of his strength. He used his network of informants to gather detailed information about CRM's weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Then, with calculated precision, he planned a surprise attack at the right moment.

While he continued playing the role of a reliable ally, Airon ensured that every step he took aligned with his master plan. He remained vigilant, studying CRM's leaders, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, and seeking ideal opportunities to act.

He knew the moment of betrayal was near and was willing to take drastic measures to achieve his goal. As the decisive day approached, Airon mentally and physically prepared himself for the final confrontation.

To those around him, Airon appeared to be a valuable and loyal ally. But inside, a fire of determination and revenge burned. He was willing to sacrifice everything for the destruction of CRM from within, to ensure that his vision and leadership prevailed in the new post-apocalyptic world.

The story was about to take an unexpected turn. The days of waiting and planning were coming to an end. Airon knew that the fate of CRM and his own organization were about to be sealed in an epic clash. Now, he just had to wait for the right moment to unleash destruction and take full control.
