Olympus was crept through the midnight jungle. He could hear the constant buzzing insects and the repeated croaking of frogs. He could even hear birds and running water. He had been walking through the damp jungle for the past two hours.
His mission was simple he had to recruit someone. Bad news was that said person was a giant blood thirsty lion man aka Battle beast. Which leads to a few problems.
#1 How to find him in this big jungle?
#2 How to convince a giant lion man to to work for machine man?
#3 How to not get killed by him?
Either way he didn't have much time to contemplate that. Why you ask? Simple because while was thinking these things. Seemingly out of nowhere Battlebeast came out from behind a tree and was standing before him.
"You have been following me for a while now why?" Battle beast had an arrogant look in his eyes. His entire body exuded pride and confidence. He hefted a giant golden mace over his shoulder.
"Perhaps you are to be my first challenger?" He grinned showing a row of sharp teeth.
"I'm not here to fight you." Olympus replied quickly he kept a neutral expression on his face ,but in reality was surprised that Battle beast snuck up on him. That could only mean a few things. First his super hearing hadn't kicked in yet. Second Battle Beast may have Batman level stealth. Three an unforeseen factor is influencing the events occurring now.
"If you're not here to fight then leave I've come to this world for one reason only. To face its strongest warriors and hunt its greatest beasts." He growled as he began to turn away. Raising his hand Battle Beast began to type on a device on his left forearm.
"Look you want battles right!? My employer has many enemies! Said enemies could prove a formidable foe if you face them!" That seemed to gain Battle Beast attention. Still it didn't seem like it was enough to convince him. The device on his arm summoned a green portal in front of him. He turned his head to look at Olympus.
"Plus he'll pay you I'm sure that peaks your interest. If it's a fight you're looking for you'll have plenty. If that still doesn't interest you then let's have a spar. If I manage to interest you even a little then come with me and I can promise you you'll meet plenty of other interesting people to fight." Olympus spoke as quickly in order to get Battle Beast to focus on him. He had gotten lucky the lion man hadn't immediately started attacking him.
"A spar you say? With a small weakling like you? You're either brave or crazy." Battle Beast growled his lips razing slightly showing hing his razor sharp white teeth.
"I'm not quite as weak as you think and even then there's plenty of beings on earth stronger than me. So are you gunna stand there and gawk or are you gunna fight me?" This last sentence brought a smile to Battle Beast's face. Then he charged at me with a ferocity that I had never seen in any human.

"So that's how it happened my first mission. There I was in the middle of the Amazon jungle at night. Fighting against a giant white alien lion man with a golden mace. Who also had the speed and strength to keep up with a Kryptonian and the skill to keep up with some of the greatest warriors in the universe. So obviously the fight started with me getting my uh I mean me on the back foot."
"As a result I may or may not have accidentally blown up several miles of the rainforest as a result of loosing control of my powers. On the up side I learned I can shoot blasts out of my hands! On the down side I can't control them at all. "
"But I did get a better handle on my flight. Before you ask no it was not because I was flying away for most of the fight it was simply a tactical evasion of attacks. "
"Anyway it doesn't matter now. Machine head has the muscle for his crew, I'm still alive, and I finally proved my usefulness to Luthor. "
"What? Were you expecting a full narration of the fight." I looked at my listeners who were hanging on my every word.
"Ah come on you're not gunna tell us what happened!" Said Super-boy the one who wore blue and black. He threw his hands into the air and fell back onto the ground. Meanwhile YJ Super-boy simply frowned and growled slightly.
The three of us were sitting on a white panel floor in the training room. Several unconscious g-trolls laid around us in a circle.
" Alright then allow me to tell you the thrilling story." I said with a smile and exaggerated waves of my hands.
" Now where was I? Ah yes so he lunged at my fangs bared" I grinned and spoke in the most dramatic voice I could.

Olympus flew threw a tree with a crack. A large white, red, and black blur followed after him. Before Olympus could land he started to fly and gain space. If he was going to survive this fight he had to lock in.
In the dense, sweltering heart of a sprawling jungle, the air was thick with the scent of damp earth, and the cacophony of life buzzed around them. Towering trees stretched skyward, their canopies creating a patchwork of shadows below. Vines twisted around ancient trunks, and the underbrush rustled with unseen creatures. Amid this natural chaos stood two titans hybrid, the young hero with powers from another world, and Battle Beast, a hulking, battle-hardened warrior driven by a relentless thirst for combat.
Olympus hovered a few feet off the ground, his eyes locked onto Battle Beast's massive, fur-covered form. The alien warrior, clad in crude but formidable armor, gripped his massive mace, his white fur bristling with anticipation. His predatory eyes narrowed as he studied the young hybrid's movements.
"You smell of strength," Battle Beast growled, his deep voice reverberating through the jungle. "But strength alone won't be enough."
Hybrid lenched his fists, his cape fluttering in the humid breeze.
Without warning, Battle Beast lunged forward with blinding speed, swinging his axe in a vicious arc. Olympus darted sideways, narrowly avoiding the weapon as it cleaved through a massive tree trunk like butter. The tree groaned and toppled, sending a flock of birds screeching into the air. Olympus countered with a punch, his fist streaking forward like a missile, but Battle Beast twisted, catching the blow on his armored gauntlet.
The impact sent a shockwave through the jungle, leaves and branches snapping off nearby trees. Battle Beast barely flinched, his lips curling into a feral grin. "You hit harder than I expected, boy."
Hybrid's eyes flared red as twin beams of heat vision erupted from them, aimed at Battle Beast's chest. But Battle Beast was ready. With lightning reflexes, he raised his axe, deflecting the beams into the ground, where they scorched the earth and sent plumes of steam hissing into the air.
The jungle itself seemed to recoil from the power on display. Hybrid shot forward, tackling Battle Beast with the force of a runaway freight train. The two slammed into the ground, carving a trench through the underbrush. Hybrid rained down a flurry of blows, each one cracking the air like thunder, but Battle Beast was no stranger to pain. He snarled and grabbed Olympus by the throat, hurling him into a nearby boulder with bone-rattling force.
Hybrid grunted in pain but quickly recovered, launching himself back into the fray. The two clashed again, fists meeting claws, heat vision scorching fur, and the mighty axe cutting through anything in its path. Battle Beast's strength was nearly overwhelming, each strike with his axe creating shockwaves that shook the jungle floor.
But Olympus's near invulnerability was his greatest asset. He absorbed the punishment, dodging or deflecting the most lethal blows. With a burst of speed, he rocketed behind Battle Beast and slammed him into the ground, creating a crater in the earth. Battle Beast snarled, rolling to his feet, and threw his axe like a boomerang.
Olympus flew up, but the axe followed him with deadly precision, cutting through the air like a predator on the hunt. He narrowly avoided it again, but Battle Beast had already closed the distance. With a roar, Battle Beast delivered a brutal uppercut, sending Olympus crashing into the treetops.
Branches snapped as Olympus tumbled back to the ground, dazed but unbroken. Wiping blood from his lip, he rose to his feet. "You're tough... but so am I."
With a surge of energy, Olympus unleashed his full power. He flew at Battle Beast with blinding speed, fists glowing with raw strength. Battle Beast met him head-on, their collision sending a shockwave that flattened trees for miles around.
For a moment, the two combatants stood locked in a deadlock, each pushing the other to the limit. But Olympus' strength was fueled by something more than raw power—he had the will to protect. With a final, devastating blow, he shattered Battle Beast's axe and sent him crashing into the earth with a thunderous impact.
The jungle fell silent as Battle Beast lay in the crater, breathing heavily. He looked up at Olympus, a mix of rage and respect in his eyes. "You've earned my respect, boy. But this is far from over."
Olympus hovered above him, fists still clenched. "I'll be ready when it is." And with that, the two warriors stood apart, both knowing this battle was just the beginning of something far greater.
Sorry for the short chapter everyone I've been really sick and really busy lately I'll try and either add onto or continue this part of the story in the next chapter.
