"Our family's stuff?"

"Have you lost your mind? Why did you tell her all that?"

Shen Mochen eyed her suspiciously, his face clearly showing displeasure.

"This Cai Yuncui is different from others; she's a big... a really good person. As long as she knows about our family's situation, she'll definitely try to look after you!"

"You were about to say 'big disaster,' weren't you? But we've always managed on our own. We don't need anyone's pity!"

Shen Mochen, freshly showered, walked out of the bathroom and saw Yin Caiyu on the sofa, sipping from a can.

Yin Caiyu held it up, "Alcohol."

Shen Mochen asked curiously, "Why are you drinking?"

"Just felt like it, is that okay?"

"I'm not saying it's not okay, I just haven't seen you drink before..."

Shen Mochen mumbled, then sat down next to Yin Caiyu, staring at her.

Yin Caiyu said nonchalantly, "Actually, I'm not really good with alcohol. I get drunk from just a little bit and then go crazy, not even knowing it myself."

"Holy shit... and you're still drinking?" Shen Mochen couldn't help but step back.

"Hahaha, I think this little bit should be fine!" Yin Caiyu laughed heartily. "Hey, by the way, I remember you mentioned that the class beauty from Class C confessed to you?"

Shen Mochen raised an eyebrow, cautious, "Yeah, but I turned her down!"

She stood up, walked to the balcony, and opened the screen window, letting the cold wind pass through her body. Yet, even so, her heart could not calm down, as if there were a volcano inside her, ready to erupt.

"Why aren't you closing the window? It's going to rain soon."

Shen Mochen came out to close the window and looked at Yin Caiyu's complexion but did not leave right away.

"You seem troubled," Shen Mochen stated, using a declarative sentence.

Yin Caiyu remained silent.

Shen Mochen reached out to hug Yin Caiyu and whispered softly, "I heard that two monsters broke through the Buque's defenses in Changmen City; there must have been casualties again... You still have some time left, but you must be careful. Stay back in confrontations; you're almost retired anyway. I'm waiting for you to come back."

For some reason, he felt an inexplicable unease. Perhaps only by holding Yin Caiyu in his arms could he slightly relieve this anxious mood.
