Chapter 19 - I Only Like Your Little Stars II
“After the last experiment, I used a bomb to end the underground research institute and left Shi Tian’s control,” Han Zhuo said, “He became angry at first and sent countless pursuers to deal with me, but later he gradually changed his attitude and became as responsive to my requests as he sounded on the phone. It even sounded a bit humble.”
“It can be explained,” Bai Xi nodded, “You are their only successful experiment. Letting the pursuers deal with you would not be a good choice.” Because whether it was the casualties of the pursuers or Han Zhuo, it was a loss for the underground warehouse and Shi Tian.
“Shi Tian is not willing to let the pursuers fight against me, but it does not mean that I will not take the initiative to find the pursuers,” Han Zhuo said, “After leaving the underground warehouse, I have snatched people from them countless times. It is precisely for this reason that more and more people with powers will come to seek my help, including your father.”
The topic sounded a bit heavy, Bai Xi put one arm around his shoulder, smiled, and shook it, “So you are a superhero.”
“Shi Tian came back this time partly because of me and partly because of you,” Han Zhuo hugged him and put him on the coffee table, making the two of them face to face. “His research was actually a failure. People with abilities have become stronger, but only I have succeeded in so many years. As for people from Earth, there is no one who wants to become a person with abilities.”
“So, we will be dependent on each other in the future,” Bai Xi put his hands on his shoulders, solemnly said, “Let’s destroy the evil forces and save all mankind.”
Han Zhuo smiled and shook his head: “Movie lines are not applicable here.”
“But my attitude is really serious,” Bai Xi pulled him to stand up, “Then what do you need me to do?”
“You need to learn to control your superpower first,” Han Zhuo pinched his nose, “Go ahead, I want a glass of whiskey with ice.”
Bai Xi squatted in front of the refrigerator, holding the glass religiously with both hands, trying to make the whiskey inside freeze into ice. However, after five minutes, it failed, and instead, a puff of hot smoke came out.
Han Zhuo leaned against the kitchen door and looked at him with a half-smile.
“I’m very nervous,” Bai Xi defended, “You are almost like an invigilator now.”
“OK,” Mr. Han turned around cooperatively, leaving room for the student to cheat.
After another three minutes, Bai Xi poked his back with his finger and handed over a lump of brown ice with a guilty conscience. The cold air was flying, as if it had just been taken out of a refrigerator at minus 30 degrees Celsius.
Han Zhuo fell into silence.
“Do you want corporal punishment?” Young Master Bai Xi stretched out his hand consciously and emphasized, “But you have to hit me gently.”
Han Zhuo raised his hand and feinted in the air.
Bai Xi closed his eyes.
Then a hand full of twinkling little stars fell.
.
In another high-rise apartment, Liu Chunchun was tremblingly calling Bai Xi, but no one answered, so he became even more worried. He continued to tiptoe, squatting at the bathroom door like a thief – the rushing water inside had at least stopped. It went on for an hour and didn’t sound like it was going to stop.
The assistant went out to negotiate with the opponent, and when he came back, he took a shower with a dark face. This earth-shattering and coherent plot unfolded through his thinking… Liu Chunchun thought sympathetically and sadly, could it be that he had been molested?
Assuming it was too stormy, Liu Chunchun was so shocked that he walked around the door three or four times with his hands behind his back. Finally, he mustered up the courage and was about to ask for help, but the bathroom door had already been forcefully opened.
He was caught off guard and fell to the ground with a scream.
Wang Yuanchen was condescending, his eyes suspicious.
.
That night, Liu Chunchun spent a lot of effort, almost drying up his mouth, to convince Mr. Wang that he was really not a perverted voyeur.
“But you still scared me,” Wang Yuanchen was leaning on the sofa, holding a diamond ring on his fingertips.
“I’m so sorry,” Liu Chunchun held the edge of his expensive nightgown and raised his hand and swore, “I will stay five meters away from your bathroom next time.”
“Is that the apology?” Wang Yuanchen unbuckled his belt and rushed to him, charmingly hooking his fingers.
Liu Chunchun burst into tears. Did he want to draw a nude again?
‘Oh, good brother, you should just beat me up!’
“Hurry up!” Wang Yuanchen frowned fiercely.
Liu Chunchun rolled and climbed to carry the easel, heart filled with desolate wind and cold rain.
Living under someone else’s roof was worse than death.
.
An hour later, Bai Xi finally found seven missed calls, so he called him back and asked him what happened.
“Brother Bai,” Liu Chunchun took the time to complain, “you don’t know, this Mr. Wang has gone too far. Not only did he force me to paint for him, but if I didn’t paint well, he would also hit me with gems.”
Bai Xi was lying on the carpet. On the phone, he casually put the phone to Han Zhuo’s ear.
“The pigeon sized gems are so big, it hurts like hell,” Liu Chunchun continued to cry in the wind.
“Good night,” Mr. Han pressed the hang-up button.
Bai Xi gave him a thumbs up.
“It’s time for you to rest too,” Han Zhuo looked at the time. “After work tomorrow, I will take you to a place that will definitely shine brighter than the little stars.”
“But I don’t like shining light,” Bai Xi turned over, he continued to sleep in the melting halo of light all over the floor, and smiled at him with his eyes bent, “I only like your little stars.”
