Dungeon at the End of the Universe

Through a twist of fate, someone managed to:
1) avoid death
2) find the System
3) become a Dungeon Core And then, as if that weren't enough, also:
4) choose a UNIQUE combination of Aspects Now, don't tell anyone I told you this, but UNIQUE is almost never good. Especially not if you don't know what you're doing. Especially not if your very existence depends on it. Especially not if others covet it. *** What to expect:
A silly little nothing-story *** Yes yes, let's get it out of the way. The title is obviously a play on Douglas Adams's The Restaurant at the End of the Universe.
And while I do plan of trying to go for the same sort of vibe, I want to make two things clear:
1) this is most certainly not a fanfiction
2) while I may be a bit inspired by the general vibe of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, it's been years since I read it so don't really expect any similarities *** This story was originally posted on royalroad.com (and is still also being posted there)

- 0 – Enter the System. Or would Enter the End be a better name? Who knows. I certainly don’t
- 1 – Nothing better than some spam to greet you to a new world. Huh? You don’t think so? Weird
- 2 – What do you mean you hate spam?! I thought everybody loved spam! (oh, also, a fairy is here)
- 3 – Chapter three, in which there is bondage. What? No! Not that kind! Why would you think that!
- 4 – The classic technique of ignoring problems until they go away. Surely this can’t backfire on me
- 5 – Hey, shh, don’t tell anyone, but I actually have no idea where this “story” will go
- 6 – Hmm, is that plot I’m smelling? Oh, no, false alarm. I just left the story on the back-burner for a bit too long
- 7 – Sorry I lied, and I’m sorry to dissapoint, but it seems there’s some plot here after all
- 8 – It was a long time coming, but we finally have some changes to the status… next chapter
- 9 – Uh oh. It would seem the sought-after status change won’t happen even in this chap. Maybe next?
- 10 – Guess who’s back. Back again. That’s right, it’s the Dungeon at the End of the Universe
- 11 – A brand new beginning. Well, it’s a bit used already, but can’t complain about second-hand junk
- 12 – It’s strange, I’m almost feeling like this is turning into a proper story. Surely that can’t be
- 13 – Warning! Warning! We’ve got a lore drop incoming! Not yet, this chap there’s only philosophy
- 14 – Info dump! Get your info dump! Freshly out of the oven, only five pence! Info dump!
- 15 – Oh boy! I sure can’t wait to find out what happens next! Surely you do too?
- 16 – Aww, it was a dead-end after all. Such a shame, such a shaem. Oh well, better luck next time
- 17 – Adventurers invading the Dungeon? Not in this story! (it’s a horror beyond comprehension)
- 18 – I’m so sorry, I truly am, but there’s infodump v2. Hopefully it at least answers some things
- 19 – Finally, some proper Dungeon building! Not really, but still better than what was until now
- 20 – Every now and then, some relaxation does one good. Huh? Did you not see the slice-of-life tag?
- 21 – To do doo! To do doo! Get it? It’s the theme from Rocky. Because a montage.
- 22 – You can’t bring a horse to water, but you can bring water to a horse. Wait no, that’s not right
- 23 – Blue boxes! Blue boxes everywhere! And no dialogue, no description, nothing else!
- 24 – A new beginning and some issues with transit. Should’ve taken the bus in my opinion
- 25 – Getting to the bottom of things. A bit more literally than one would expect, I think
- 26 – In which we turn to stranger tides. Or do we cause them? Hopefully this joke lands after a read
- 27 – New character, who dis?
- 28 – You’ll never guess what this one is about
- 29 – Running. Running where? No, wrong. Running out of what. And the answer: ideas
