Chapter 112: Chapter 112
"Guys, food is ready." Liz popped her head out of the door to call the three.
However, besides seeing Sheldon running around with the pair of dogs. She only found some of the extra layers Clark and Leonardo wore being held down by their glasses. Which made her tilt her head in confusion wondering where they went.
"Do you guys know where they went?" Liz looks inside the house.
"It seems a big incident happened, so they probably went to check it out." Raya replied. "The two should be able to handle it."
"The incident did sound pretty serious. Maybe we should go too." Kara suggested.
"Leo and Clark can handle it." Aurora assorted.
"Still, we could give a helping hand." Kara suggested.
"Just leave the hero business to the boys for the time being." Aurora said. "Now let's dig in, for while not as good as Leo's cooking, it looks great."
Kara seemed a bit put off about such a suggestion, while Raya just went about preparing her plate. Which just showed Liz the dynamics among them all. Aurora and Raya didn't seem to care much about the issue, while Kara is more of an active body. It's just Liz was curious about what they managed to hear, but she didn't hear anything.
"Well, it's about time for the weather. Do you mind if I turn the news on?" Liz asked. "I haven't had time to catch it the last few days."
"Go for it. We aren't stopping you." Kara shrugged.
Neither Raya nor her really cared about the weather, while Aurora had her own way to deal with weather she doesn't like. So neither of the three really cared that much about the weather unless they had some event going on outdoors. Even then if they need to, Raya and Kara could change the weather.
When the television turned on, a few city blocks were destroyed where a large gray creature stood there as a man in a blue outfit tried to fit it. Spikes protruded from its body as it swung a car slamming into the man shooting through nearby buildings. Right before it swapped and showed an even buffer and clearly stronger looking creature as it hammered another person into everything it could.
"Is this a movie?" Liz asked.
"On the latest update on the two monsters rampage in Metropolis. Two men stepped up to fight trying to stop these beings." A woman with a worried expression said as the video cut back. "These two men from what we can determine from a safe distance seem able to fly and are fairly durable as they have taken a beating that would kill any other person."
Then, as the screen flipped back, a picture managed to zoom in or more like thrown towards the camera. A slightly battered face with inhumane blue eyes appeared on the screen before the feed was cut.
"?" Liz blinked a bit confused.
The picture of the guy on screen looked a bit similar to Leonardo. However Liz had a bit of a hard time connecting the two.
--
"Yes, kill these alien scum. Allow me to be the hero of the future, by removing these invaders."
On top of the Daily Planet, a man in an iron suit shouted happily as he saw the destruction and upon seeing the two beings he clearly hated being beaten. As he raised his arms in joy, the sun reflected off a black ring with a golden trim and a large L was present on his finger. While in his other hand he held what appeared to be a sword with an orange edge emitting heat.
--
A few minutes ago after leaving the porch with Clark in a hurry as they swapped into clothes that weren't large or baggy. Leonardo and Clark rushed towards the screams that seemed to appear in two different areas as large scale destruction could be heard.
"Clark, take the one near Jimmy. I will handle the other one." Leonardo said as he split from Clark.
"Be careful, I have a bad feeling about this." Clark said.
"Of course." Leonardo stated.
In a blink of an eye, Leonardo soon saw his target and wanted to cry as he slammed into the beast. Standing at what he guessed to be an impressive seven and half feet, with arms thicker than trees and skin grayer then stones. Leonardo looked at the beast with a spiky beard and red eyes filled with infinite rage as he tried to think of a way to put it down quickly.
Only, besides shattering all the glass on the surrounding streets, Leonardo felt like he hit an unmovable mountain. For instead of moving the beast when he slammed into it, besides it's feet digging into the ground, he didn't do much.
"Roar!"
"Well, this is going to suck." Leonardo said as its fist slammed hard onto his back.
Feeling the protruding spikes on the beast fist slam into his back, Leonardo let out a small shout as he slammed into the road below him. Before he felt a large foot coming down towards his head.
Turning around in a hurry, Leonardo barely managed to catched the foot before it landed, but just barely. Which also prevented him from finding the best way to leverage himself or counter. Hence, he was stuck trying to resist the massive force the creature was trying to use to stomp his head in with.
"Roar!"
Unable to do anything Leonardo could try to roll as the foot nearly crushed him. However, as he tried to move, Doomsday, the beast he is, was quicker then he appeared. Which allowed him to grab his leg and Leonardo as he felt his leg being crushed was being slammed around as he hit cars, buildings, or the road. It clearly didn't matter to Doomsday what he hit for he only wanted destruction.
"Where the hell did you come from?" Leonardo shouted.
His eyes turned red as he attempted to use his heat vision, but only to find Doomsday shrugging it off like it was nothing. Which seems to just enrage the beast more as Leonardo was thrown around even more as he felt the beast seems to become stronger the longer he was grabbed.
'I hope Clark's having better luck than I am.' Leonardo thought to himself as he was thrown away.
Then he saw Doomsday jump after him as spikes began to protrude from his arms as he prepared to impale him.

On top of the Daily Planet, Lois ran to the roof in hopes of getting a clear idea of where the trouble is taking place. However, upon reaching the top, she heard a man dressed in an iron outfit as if cosplaying a knight cheering at the destruction.
"Hey, creep. What are you doing up here?"
"Ah, Lois Lane. The woman who allowed the cancerous aliens to infect and become welcome on this planet." The man sneered through his helmet.
Walking towards him in a fit of anger for talking to her in such a tone. She was about to open a can of whoop ass on him. Where the man clicked his tongue as he began to laugh in a creepy way as he raised his sword.
Lois just glanced at the sword she thought of a prop and did the most effective move she could do on the man. She aimed a precise strike between the man's legs as his iron suit was more half worn then true armor of old.
"Ahh!"
"What's this ring?" Lois asked as she saw a strange ring on the man's finger and reached for it.
Then in a flash of purple light, Lois and the man on the Daily Planet vanished.
