Chapter 1: New Information
It was another sucky day at number 4 Privet drive. Hyacinth was thinking about her life, from her cupboard to Hogwarts her life so far has been anything but normal. So here she lay pondering over what fate still has in store for her. "I just started my journey into the magical world and I was almost killed 4 times in my first year. I hope next year is better. At least I have a room now not just a cupboard." I softly mumble before drifting off to sleep.
While asleep Hyacinth didn't realize that her world was about to change drastically far more so than just finding out that she was part of a secret world of wizards.
Gringotts
Bloodfang sat looking at another returned unopened letter addressed to one Hyacinth Potter. He was getting increasingly frustrated with the situation since young Hyacinth's 9th birthday. The young lady has disregarded all attempted correspondence with him. Even when she came to get money for her school supplies accompanied by Griphook she made no request to speak with her account manager. You would think that with Albus Dumbledore as her magical guardian she would know not to ignore her accounts. "I am left with no choice then I must get a hold of Lady Potter." Walking out of my office at a brisk pace I head towards the kings chamber and bow. "I request an audience with King Ragnuk" The guard quickly ran in and back out to escort me into his chambers. The king looked amused at my presence, he knows of my troubles at getting the young lady to show her face and finds my struggle amusing. "What can I do for you today Bloodfang?"
"I would like to request leave to seek out Lady Potter so that she may claim her titles and activate her family vault I am sick of watching Dumbledore remove money from her vault for her care and us seeing no growth of her funds in such a long time. It's preposterous that she hasn't even opened any of my sent out mail." The king looks surprised and says, "Not even one letter has been read?" I sigh and say, "Not even one, I am more than a little frustrated with the way things are."
"I can see your reasons for frustration so I will grant you leave to visit young Lady Potter at her residence."
Bowing to the King I leave and head out to Lady Potter's place of residence I will watch and see what is so important that she finds it better than responding to my correspondence. Arriving at #4 Privet drive I watch and see the young lady get up and begin cooking witch I find odd due to the fact that she has house elves to do that for her. I shrug it off though as perhaps she likes to cook. It doesn't take long for a whale of a man to storm into the room yelling at Lady Potter about how his trousers weren't pressed right while slapping her in the face. An older woman walks into the room and berate Lady Potter to not burn breakfast and to call down a Dudley for the meal. The whale and the bean stalk sat at the table and began eating. A small whale joined them soon after while Lady Potter went out back to do yard work for the next half an hour only to be called in by the bean stalk. Once inside she was told to clean up and that she could only eat the left overs, which to be honest wasn't much. She was able to scrape together about half an egg worth of scrambled eggs, half a piece of toast and one strawberry. once the dishes were done the large whale grabbed her arm harshly and pulled her up the stairs into a small room with bars on the window and more locks on the door than a low security vault at Gringotts. Ordering her to stay put and not come out or he would beat the freak out of her. Shoving her inside and slamming the door he locked her in and tottered down the stairs. Lady Potter spent the rest of her day locked inside the room so I could see much. I did hear her as she faintly said something about having her own room now and not a cupboard so I decided to go investigate. What I found had me reeling with anger, the cupboard under the stair was dingy at best with spider webs and a small child scrawl which read Hyacinth's room. The small cot meant for a young child no more that four or five lay on the floor with dried old blood marring the worn surface. I have to do this right if I am to get Lady Potter out of this place so I leave to talk with the king once again.
