Ancient Magic From The Stars

King Ragnuk was furious at how the young Lady was being treated all youngling should be cherished and protected the fact that Dumbledore has allowed this to happen has us questioning every interaction I have had with him as Lady Potters magical guardian so a full audit is being done on her trust vault. Thankfully that is all he had access to in loco parentis according to the paperwork he submitted with the ministry. I pull all paperwork including the copy of the Potter's will on file at Gringotts and frown noting the will on file with the ministry is sealed by the Chief Warlock. So I read the one from Gringotts instead only to be shocked with what I find. With my finding in hand I run for the King bursting into his chambers yelling, "Call for Griphook and Amelia Bones my king, the matter is most urgent." 

Amelia Bones POV

It was just another day in the DMLE until the letter from King Ragnuk arrived on my desk demanding my presence at Gringotts with only my two most trusted Aurors allowed to follow along. I called for Kingsley Shacklebolt and Rufus Scrimgeour and explained before we set out. We arrived through the floo with a waiting Goblin escort and set off for the Kings audience chamber. 

King Ragnuk was sitting on his thrown with two goblins standing on either side of him one holding a stack of papers. I can see the ministry seal on the top of the stack which is troubling. My curiosity doesn't last much longer as the king says, "I have called you here Madam Bones to address the matter of two account holders that have suffered greatly. Before you ask why the Goblin Nation cares about two account holders is because one is a youngling who we have attempted to mail for over three years with no response so I sent her account manager to check on her and found the situation to be less than ideal and the other is because they are the largest account holder in Gringotts and has been held without trial for 11 years if the information I have is correct. So I and the two account managers for said houses have called you here for some answers."

I nodded my head and spoke carefully, "May I ask for the names of your account holders and why all this secrecy is necessary?"

"You may, the young one is Hyacinth Potter and she has been if my information is correct illegally placed with abusive muggle trash for the last 11 years. The other is her legal guardian and oath sworn godfather Lord Sirius Orion Black who has been imprisoned without a trial for the last 11 years."

My jaw dropped at the information that the king has just laid at my feet shakily I say, "May I see the evidence of the abuse you have either witnessed or have record of. I would also like to check and see if Mr. Black was indeed sentenced without trial."

"He is Lord Black, Madam Bones his inheritance has been recognized in the family records here at Gringotts." 

This is even more troubling if a Pureblood Lord was imprisoned without a trial I thought. I might not believe in the blood bigotry rampant withing the wizarding world but most of the Wizengamot are and would throw a fit if they thought it could easily happen to them. I have to handle this with care and by the book precision. Then a thought stopped me dead in my tracks, "Wait you said oath sworn Godfather. How do you know that he was Hyacinth's oath sworn Godfather?"

The king smiled Viciously but said, "That is easy we read the Potter's will we have on file with Gringotts for inheritance purposes. The ministry isn't the only ones to have access to documents of such nature you know that Madam Bones we hold the original and the Ministry gets a copy. Bloodfang went to check all documents on file with the Ministry pertaining to young Lady Potter and found the previous Lord and Lady Potters will sealed by none other than Albus Dumbledore. Which if I am not mistaken is illegal by your wizard laws is it not?"

I paled at the information laid out by the king and send Scrimgeour back to the Ministry to bring me our own copies of the documents and the status of all documents on file with the Ministry. It was an awkward 45 minutes until Scrimgeour made it back finally I could see the Ministry files and compare them to the Gringotts files. 

My hands began to shake as every word the king has said is now confirmed in black and white as far as the paper work is concerned. Now I just need confirmation about the abusive muggles. I look at the king and ask, "May I see the memories of the goblin who witnessed the abuse of Hyacinth Potter?" 

The goblin to the kings right stepped forward and placed his memories into the pensive that was brought forward. Myself, Scrimgeour, and Shacklebolt watched in absolute horror as the whale hit her and she was made to eat the scraps off dirty dishes. Forced into a cell of a room and then to top it off the cupboard under the stairs was revealed as her old room with blood marring the 'mattress'. Once out of the pensive I gathered up the memory and said, "I will be taking this and all the other information you have provided in as evidence I will contact you with answers as soon as I have them."
