Arranged Marriage with Satoru Gojo - Jujutsu Kaisen

Chapter 19: He's done with you:

Satoru's back was turned to Utahime, his posture cold and dismissive, as though her words no longer held any weight.

Her expression contorted in disgust, and she couldn't contain the frustration bubbling inside her. "I can't stand this," she muttered under her breath, venom dripping from each syllable.

Without turning to face her, Satoru simply shrugged, his indifference palpable. "Tough luck."

Her eyes flared with anger, her voice sharp and direct as she demanded, "Did you use protection with her?" The question hung in the air, laced with a raw, biting resentment.

Satoru raised an eyebrow, his eyes narrowing just slightly in that familiar, careless way of his. He turned his head slowly, now facing Utahime with an almost lazy smirk. "What if I did?" he asked, his tone dripping with indifference.

Utahime's eyes widened in shock, her face flushing with anger. She clenched her fists, her voice rising in fury. "That is not acceptable, Satoru!"

Satoru's lips curled into a quiet, dismissive chuckle, the sound sharp and mocking. "Tch," he muttered under his breath, the edge of amusement in his voice. He straightened up, his gaze now cold and distant. "Your opinion doesn't matter anymore, Utahime. I'm a married man now. Why are you still wasting your time chasing someone who's already out of reach?"

Utahime's fists tightened, her expression still a mask of fury, but something deeper flickered in her eyes—hurt, though she fought to keep it buried. She bit down on her lower lip, but her voice betrayed her as it wavered with pain.

"If it wasn't her," she snapped, her words sharp and laden with emotion, "you and I would've gotten married!"

The anger in her tone only highlighted the ache behind it, the raw sting of rejection she couldn't quite hide, no matter how hard she tried to keep the fire burning in her eyes.

Utahime's voice cracked. "Tch. Whatever. Forget it."

She spun around, leaving, but Satoru swiftly grasped her wrist, pulling her back. His lips crashed against hers in a deep, passionate kiss.

Utahime's eyes widened, surprise flashing across her face. Then, her eyelids relaxed, surrendering to the intensity. Her lips softened, returning the kiss.

Satoru's arms enveloped her waist, drawing her closer. Utahime's hands, initially tense, relaxed on his shoulders, melting into the embrace.

Time stood still as their lips locked, the world around them fading away.

You open the hotel room's door, and standing there is the delivery man with the package in hand. You smile and thank him for getting it here so quickly, slipping a few bills into his hand as a tip. He nods, offering a quick smile in return before walking away. You close the door behind you with a soft click.

Your heart races as you lean against the door, feeling the weight of the moment. Relax... you tell yourself, taking a deep breath. "Let's take the test."

With your nerves still fluttering, you turn and walk toward the bathroom, feeling the urgency of the moment pulse through you.

The quiet hum of the house felt almost suffocating, the only sound being the rhythmic ticking of the clock. You sat anxiously on the edge of the couch, staring at the pregnancy test kit that was beside you on the bed. Your heart raced as you anxiously awaited the test results, a feeling of dread and excitement mingling in your chest.

Suddenly, you heard the faint sound of the door creaking open. You quickly grabbed the blanket, hiding the test kit beneath its folds, and shot up from the bed, your heart now hammering in your chest. You rushed into the living room, your steps quick as you made your way to greet Satoru.

"Hey." His voice was low, laced with exhaustion. His shoulders sagged as he stepped inside, and without a second glance at you, he made his way toward the bedroom, too tired to acknowledge you further.

You paused, confused for a moment by his distant demeanor. But then, something in you clicked, and your eyes widened with realization. You hesitated for a moment before rushing after him, following him to the bedroom.

Satoru moved in a way that seemed almost mechanical, dragging his body toward the bed. As he threw himself onto the mattress with a soft thud, you watched as he carelessly moved the blanket aside.

Then, your heart skipped a beat. There, under the blanket, something faintly pressed against his lower back. Something unfamiliar. You felt your breath catch in your throat.

Your eyes widened, and you could barely breathe as you took in the sight. The pregnancy test kit—your pregnancy test kit—was there, resting against him.

"I..." The words barely formed in your mouth as your body tensed, your mind racing with a flood of emotions.

Satoru shifted on the bed, clearly annoyed by something pressing against his back. He grumbled, "Ah, what's that?" and reached down, pulling the blanket off with a quick motion. His fingers brushed against the unfamiliar object, and his brows furrowed. He pulled it into view and blinked, his gaze fixing on the pregnancy test kit.

His eyes widened in surprise. "Wait... what is this?" His voice held a mix of shock and confusion. He glanced at the kit again, his expression transforming into one of realization. The words finally clicked in his mind, and his gaze shot up to meet yours.

You froze, your face going bright red as your heart skipped a beat. The warmth in your cheeks was undeniable, and you immediately wanted to disappear. You hadn't expected him to find it—let alone like this.

Satoru, his own face now flushed a bit, raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile curling at the corners of his mouth. "Expecting a baby already?" His voice was playful but held an edge of surprise, clearly processing the situation.

You could feel your face heat up even more, and instinctively, you looked away, unable to meet his gaze. The embarrassment hit you hard, your mind racing for some kind of response, but you couldn't find one.

He leaned back, a teasing laugh escaping him. "Aha, wanting to be a mommy so bad, hm?" His voice was light and teasing, the playful glint in his eyes never wavering as he watched your reaction.

You could feel your heart racing, the embarrassment washing over you even more intensely. Your cheeks burned with the heat of his teasing, and you scrambled for something to say, anything to make this moment feel less awkward. Finally, you blurted out, "It's just that I felt nauseous—"

But you quickly fell silent, your words cutting off when you noticed Satoru's expression. He was no longer teasing, no longer smiling. Instead, he raised his hand, five fingers outstretched, silently telling you to hush. His focus was entirely on the pregnancy test kit in his hand, watching it with unwavering attention. The silence between you both stretched as the first line of the test began to appear.

You held your breath, your gaze flickering nervously between Satoru's face and the test kit. He didn't say a word, but there was a quiet patience to the way he observed the line forming, his eyes never leaving the kit.

Satoru glanced at you for a second, then laid his eyes back at the test kit, and said, "Come here, wifey."

You slowly walked over and sat beside him, nervously eyeing the kit. After five seconds of staring at it, you let out a sigh of relief. You weren't pregnant.

Satoru looked at you, confused. "Wait, what? So you're not pregnant?!"

"Uh, yeah...?" you replied, feeling better, yet awkward at the same time.

With a disappointed look, Satoru tossed the test aside carelessly. "You're just 17. Don't tell me you're infertile already."

You felt a small pang of offense rise in your chest at Satoru's words. Without thinking, you turned your gaze away from him, your expression hardening. "What if I was?" you muttered, barely above a whisper, trying to hide the sting in your voice.

Satoru paused, his sharp eyes narrowing as he processed your words. For the first time in this conversation, his usual playful demeanor was gone. His face was all business, his piercing blue eyes locked onto you with a cold seriousness. "Then I'm done with you for sure," he said, his voice steady and unflinching. The weight of his words hung in the air, leaving a chill between you two.
