DC: Becoming Supreme With Technology ( I Beat Superman)

Chapter 62: Killing The Generals, Justice League Arrives, More Demons.

The first general lunged with its fiery scythe, aiming to cleave Ethan in two. Ethan sidestepped with inhuman agility, his armor absorbing the heat radiating from the weapon. He countered with a devastating uppercut, his enhanced strength sending the general flying into a ruined building.

The second general, with its six wings, shrieked and unleashed a barrage of sonic waves. Ethan activated a counterfrequency shield, the vibrations dissipating harmlessly around him. He retaliated by launching a concentrated beam from the EchoBox, striking the general midair. It spiraled out of control, crashing into the ground with a thunderous impact.

The third general, serpent-like and swift, darted behind Ethan, its claws crackling with dark lightning. Ethan anticipated the attack, spinning around and catching the creature by its throat. The electricity surged through his armor, but it was dissipated by his advanced energy dampeners. With a surge of strength, he slammed the general into the ground, creating a small crater.

Ethan's relentless assault forced the generals into a defensive position. The first, recovering from the building, swung its scythe again, but Ethan caught the blade with his gauntlet, snapping it in half with ease. He delivered a series of blows to its chest, cracking its molten armor.

The second general attempted to take flight again, but Ethan hurled a jagged piece of debris at one of its wings, grounding it. He closed the distance and struck with a petrification beam from the EchoBox, reducing its wings to stone.

The third, still recovering, attempted another ambush. Ethan activated his thrusters, propelling himself forward and delivering a flying kick that sent the creature sprawling.

Before Ethan could finish the job, a tremor shook the ground. Ten more generals emerged from the hellish portal, their guttural roars filling the air. The original three retreated, shielded by the reinforcements.

Ethan stood his ground, his EchoBox glowing fiercely. As the new generals charged, he unleashed his petrification beam, sweeping it across the battlefield. Four of the generals froze mid-motion, their bodies turning to brittle stone before crumbling to dust.

The remaining six encircled Ethan, wary but determined.

Ethan stood in the center of the chaos, his armor glowing faintly under the crimson sky. The remaining six demon generals prowled around him, their eyes burning with infernal rage. Each one radiated unique power: one wielded shadowy tendrils that writhed like living chains, another exuded a freezing aura that turned the ground to frost, and the rest were armed with weapons of jagged black steel forged in the fires of hell itself.

Despite Helios's warning about his energy reserves, Ethan tightened his grip on the EchoBox, channeling the residual lunar energy stored within him. He activated his HUD to map out the optimal strategy, targeting each general's potential weakness.

The six generals charged simultaneously, their movements coordinated as though linked by a hive mind. Ethan surged forward to meet them, his thrusters propelling him into the fray.

The first general lashed out with its shadowy tendrils, aiming to ensnare him. Ethan dodged with precision, his lunar energy-enhanced speed allowing him to stay one step ahead. He retaliated with a concentrated blast from his petrification beam, striking the creature's chest. The shadows recoiled as its body began to stiffen and crack, crumbling into dust moments later.

The second general lunged with its frost-covered blade, its swing creating a wave of icy shards that sliced through the air. Ethan activated his armor's thermal regulators, neutralizing the cold as he countered with a charged punch. The impact shattered the blade and sent the general staggering. Ethan followed up with a burst of lunar energy, vaporizing it in a flash of silvery light.

The remaining four generals attacked in unison. Ethan raised his arm to block a serrated axe aimed at his head, the blow reverberating through his armor. Another general struck from the side, its claws raking against his shoulder plate, leaving deep grooves. Ethan gritted his teeth, spinning around to deliver a backhanded strike to one demon while simultaneously firing a petrification beam at another.

The third and fourth generals attempted to flank him, one wielding a massive flail while the other unleashed a stream of molten fire. Ethan leapt into the air, dodging the molten stream and using his thrusters to propel himself toward the flail-wielding demon. He grabbed the chain mid-swing, yanking the general off balance before slamming it into the ground with bone-crushing force. The petrification beam followed, reducing it to rubble.

The fire-wielding general roared in frustration, summoning a torrent of flames to engulf Ethan. His armor's lunar energy shield absorbed the brunt of the attack, and he charged through the inferno, his body glowing with silvery light. With one powerful strike, he shattered the demon's fiery core, extinguishing it.

The last two generals circled cautiously, their confidence waning after witnessing Ethan's prowess. They launched a desperate, combined assault—one swinging a spiked mace while the other summoned an array of energy projectiles. Ethan deflected the projectiles with his armor's energy shield and sidestepped the mace's deadly arc.

He unleashed a shockwave of lunar energy, disorienting both generals. Seizing the opportunity, he fired the petrification beam at one, watching as it froze mid-scream before collapsing into a pile of ash. The final general attempted to retreat, its resolve broken, but Ethan extended his palm and released a concentrated burst of energy, annihilating it.

As the dust settled, Ethan stood amidst the remains of the demon generals. His armor was battered, and faint wisps of smoke rose from its surface, but his posture was unyielding.

Helios's voice chimed in his ear. "Demons eliminated. Lunar energy reserves critically depleted. Recommend immediate recharge."

Ethan deactivated the EchoBox, his breathing steady despite the strain. He turned his gaze toward the hellish portal still looming in the distance. Though he had triumphed against the generals, the war was far from over. The hordes of hell continued to pour through, and Bael's presence loomed like an ominous shadow over Gotham.

Ethan stood amidst the crumbled remains of the six demon generals, his armor scorched but his resolve unshaken. He could feel the ground beneath him rumbling as the portal pulsed with malevolent energy. The air grew thick with the sulfurous stench of hell, and a deep, guttural laugh echoed across the battlefield.

From the gaping portal, Bael's voice resonated like thunder. "Impressive, mortal. But your efforts are futile. Let's see how you fare against this."

The portal flared, spewing out another horde of lesser demons that surged toward Ethan and the rest of Gotham. Their grotesque forms snarled and screeched as they charged with claws, fangs, and crude weapons. Ethan readied himself, his energy reserves critically low but his determination unwavering.

Before the horde could reach Ethan, a streak of red light zipped across the battlefield, followed by the sound of roaring thunder as Shazam landed beside him. Moments later, Superman descended from the sky, his iconic cape billowing as he surveyed the chaos. Wonder Woman charged in with her sword drawn, her Amazonian battle cry rallying the others. Aquaman emerged from the shadows, his trident glinting ominously, while Cyborg's arm shifted into a massive cannon, ready to fire. Flash zipped back and forth, scattering smaller demons with well-timed strikes. Batman arrived last, his silhouette cutting a grim figure against the hellish glow.

The Justice League had arrived, and their presence shifted the tide of the battle.

Bael sneered from the portal, his form barely visible but his glowing eyes piercing through the veil. "You think your champions can save you? Let me show you true power!"

With a wave of his clawed hand, the portal erupted once more. Emerging from the infernal gate were ten colossal demons, each towering over the battlefield. Their massive, hulking forms radiated an aura of malevolence, their crimson eyes burning with unholy fire. Each giant wielded weapons forged in hell—massive axes, spiked clubs, and chains wreathed in flames.

The Justice League spread out, each hero ready to engage the towering foes.

Superman launched himself at the nearest demon, his fists striking with the force of meteors. The demon roared in anger, swinging its flaming mace, but Superman caught it mid-swing and shattered the weapon with his heat vision before delivering a knockout punch that sent the creature sprawling.

Wonder Woman faced two giants at once, her movements a blur of precision and power. With her lasso of truth, she ensnared one, yanking it to the ground before plunging her sword into its chest. The second demon lunged at her, but she parried its massive blade with her shield, countering with a slash that severed its arm.

Shazam called down a bolt of magical lightning, striking a demon and leaving it disoriented. He flew upward, slamming into its head with enough force to crack its horns. The creature toppled backward, disintegrating into ash as Shazam unleashed another thunderous strike.
