DC Heroes in Marvel

Chapter 148: C134(1)

Boom!!

Just as the people of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Tony were reflecting on the gap between the "Justice League" and the "Avengers," the technodrome in the sky suddenly erupted with a massive explosion.

The thunderous sound shocked everyone, including the New Yorkers who had been staring at the sky. They were transfixed by the explosion and didn't dare blink.

At that moment, the platform extending from the technodrome to the outside was heavily engulfed in a cloud of dazzling fire and smoke, blocking everyone's view.

However, just a minute ago, many had noticed that the explosion had been caused by the bombardment of shells.

The humanoid mecha controlled by the alien Krang unleashed terrifying blue energy cannonballs, while cyborg responded in kind with sonic shells.

The two forces collided, destroying the outer platform of the technodrome and sending shockwaves all the way into its interior.

Then, Batman emerged, cutting through the thick smoke like a sharp sword.

Click! Click!

Under Batman's command, the Batmobile adjusted its trajectory, and its front and sides transformed into menacing barrels, aimed at the indistinct shadow within the smoke, firing relentlessly.

The special artillery shells made the barrels of the Batmobile glow hot as they rained down into the smoke, causing another explosion.

"Damn human!" Krang yelled in fury, his voice echoing across the sky.

Even the New Yorkers heard it—standard American English, unmistakably belonging to Krang. They didn't find it odd since they didn't know the full story and couldn't comprehend at that moment.

That said, after Batman appeared, their inner tension eased significantly. It seemed they all believed that Batman would once again turn the tide and save New York.

As for S.H.I.E.L.D., even their top agents, led by Nick Fury, were a bit taken aback. They were stunned, trying to process why an alien was speaking Earth's language.

Then they remembered—when the Kree and Skrulls arrived on Earth in the 1990s, they also spoke fluent American English.

So, it didn't seem all that strange that Krang could speak English.

...

After bursting out of the smoke, Batman, now visible to all, used his bat grappling gun to swing into the technodrome, disappearing once again from sight.

However, everyone speculated that Batman had entered the massive spaceship with a new purpose—perhaps trying to wrestle control of it from the enemy. The crowd was filled with anticipation, eagerly awaiting what would happen next.

"Get out!"

Immediately after, krang's furious roar echoed.

The weapons and equipment inside the technodrome shifted, all under his mental control, and aimed directly at Batman—now Anton.

Boom boom boom!

Energy shells flew toward Anton. He remained unfazed, flipping his cloak behind him, and then threw a bat boomerang. The boomerang returned to his hand in a perfect arc.

The energy cannonballs headed for him detonated mid-flight, thanks to the boomerang's trajectory.

A massive burst of fire and shockwaves exploded, but the blast was absorbed by his special bat cloak.

Click! Click!

The energy shells impacted, damaging the interior of the war fortress.

Krang, watching from afar, could only observe as his control slipped, powerless to prevent the destruction.

Because Krang was entangled by Anton's cyborg clone, he couldn't move to deal with Batman inside the fortress.

It's worth mentioning that Anton had entered the technodrome to target the lighthouse.

The lighthouse is synonymous with the core of the warship. Everything in the fortress was built around it.

As long as one can master the lighthouse, cyborg can completely take over the technodrome, turning this alien spaceship into their own and making it the base of the Justice League.

This is Anton's ultimate goal.

He raised his head slightly and saw a small sphere floating about a hundred meters away. There was no doubt—it was the lighthouse.

But krang had already marked him as a target, and all the weapons and equipment inside the ship were now aimed at him.

Even taking a single step forward was difficult. It was like standing on a steel wire between two buildings, walking on air—one wrong move and his bones would be crushed.

"The game has just begun."

Anton whispered, quickening his pace, letting the artillery fire pass by him like a fish swimming through water, constantly closing the distance between himself and the lighthouse.

...

At this moment, on the external platform of the technodrome, the thick smoke began to clear.

Cyborg hovered in the air, facing off against the humanoid mecha controlled by krang.

Krang gritted his teeth.

Through the robot's internal monitoring, he realized Batman's objective within the ship and felt unprecedented frustration.

However, he was still engaged with cyborg and couldn't go inside to deal with Batman fully.

"Damn human!" Krang was no stranger to the two enemies before him.

At the very least, having studied Earth, he had heard of their names.

"Superheroes..."

Krang sneered. "Heroes often die. Superheroes die faster!"

He had been observing Earth for a long time.

Besides the foot clan—who had first obtained the fragments of the teleportation device he dropped—they had also compiled a list of Earth's superheroes who posed a threat to him.

Batman and Cyborg were two of them.

Others included Iron Man, dealt by his technodrome, Spider-Man, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who were dealing with the foot clan.

In general, krang didn't see them as a significant threat.

As an alien criminal in control of the warship, krang, with his terrifying technological weaponry, had defeated far more powerful opponents.

Earth's creatures, in his eyes, were just a primitive species in a distant corner of the universe—essentially a "poor country."

"Cyborg, I'll kill you first, and then slowly deal with Batman." The humanoid mech clenched its fist.

Krang paused after every word.

"This is a new game. Be careful, earthlings!"

The words were full of anger.

Clearly, he, who traverses the universe, regarded Earth's people as ants.

But the current situation was that the ant wanted to rise up and become the master, breaking through his first line of defense.

This made krang furious.

"I was about to say the same thing," Cyborg's tone was calm.

Boom!!

The words were followed by another bombardment of energy cannonballs.

Amidst the madness of fire and shockwaves, like fireworks in the sky, a blue energy ray, containing the power of ice, directly froze the fire and, at an incredible speed, rushed toward the cyborg.

Cyborg raised his hand slightly, and the sonic shield blocked the energy rays.

Whoosh!

The next moment, a stream of air shot from his back, rushing toward krang like lightning, ready to engage him in close combat.

Cyborg , or Anton, knew this very well.

In terms of pure technological content, the technodrome Krang controlled and the humanoid mechas he commanded were not inferior to the alien technology of the Apokalips Mother Box.

In short, it was difficult to tell who would win. The key was that krang had a fatal flaw.
