Chapter 149: C134(2)

This alien Krang didn't possess any combat ability at all. His only reliance was the humanoid mecha and the technodrome.

As long as krang's mecha could be destroyed, and with Batman, who was Anton's alter ego inside the warship to override krang's control, this alien would have no room to maneuver and would be easily defeated.

Boom!

Under the watchful eyes of the public, the humanoid mech collided with the cyborg head-on.

At this moment, Iron Man outside the warship, Tony Stark, paused for a moment.

He saw the alien being restrained by cyborg and realized he couldn't miss this opportunity. He had to seize it.

Even if he couldn't be the main character, he could still offer help to cyborg or Batman. Time to show his face!

The technodrome had been resistant to attack for a long time, but cyborg and Batman had entered without encountering any obstacles.

This dealt a major blow to Tony.

Especially since the citizens of New York could see the scene if they simply looked up at the sky. Tony was filled with frustration, regretting his hesitation.

He believed he needed to restore his heroic image in the hearts of New Yorkers.

These people needed to know that Tony Stark was the genius inventor who combined talent with charm.

With this thought, even though his armor had only a small amount of energy left, he shot forward at a speed exceeding the speed of sound, slamming into the technodrome like lightning.

Boom!

The shockwave behind him radiated in all directions.

"Iron Man is shooting again!"

"He wants to help cyborg and Batman!" People cast expectant glances.

Then...

Click, click, click!

Although Krang was facing cyborg's relentless attack and had no spare power to control the warship, the ship's external defense mechanisms were designed long before. They didn't need krang's control to function perfectly.

A series of thick and long barrels adjusted their aim, now targeting the red figure that had just appeared.

Tony squinted his eyes, slightly nervous.

"Sir, a route has been planned for you."

Jarvis, using the superb computing power of artificial intelligence, analyzed a route through the barrel's design trajectory that might allow Tony to bypass the external defense mechanisms of the warship.

"Good job, Jarvis!"

Upon hearing these words from Jarvis, the tension in Tony's heart disappeared, and he suddenly became confident.

After the compliment, the airflow from his feet and palms increased, boosting his output. Whoosh!

Tony's speed skyrocketed.

Boom!!

At that moment, energy shells came, completely blocking Tony's path.

"Damn!!"

Tony was shocked. "Jarvis, your route is wrong."

"Sorry, sir."

Jarvis replied with a hint of a apology, "I hope I still have a chance to re-plan your route."

Boom!!

Before Tony could reply, he collided head-on with a cannonball.

The massive firelight shockwave caused him to lose altitude immediately, and the entire figure of Iron Man disappeared from the sky.

The crowd fell silent, but they could only wish Iron Man good luck in their hearts.

...

"The armor damage rate is 78%, all weapon systems fail, the propellers fail, and the ability to fly..."

After Jarvis finished speaking, he paused. "Sir, good luck to you."

"Damn it!"

Tony gritted his teeth. "Jarvis, if I survive this, you'd better pray that your core algorithm doesn't get replaced."

He continued to fall, getting closer to the TCRI laboratory building.

Despite his armor, falling from this height wasn't trivial. If he didn't die, he'd likely lose half his life!

Tony closed his eyes.

Suddenly, he felt like he had fallen into a large net and was being caught by someone.

Opening his eyes, he saw a pair of big menacing eyes staring back at him.

On the face in front of him was a massive, bloodthirsty mouth and a pair of sharp fangs, drooling—

Falling onto the mask of his armor.

Tony was initially surprised but quickly relaxed.

He wasn't unfamiliar with this person.

Although the opponent looked a little grotesque, the character corresponding to this image was memorable enough to make an impression.

"Venom!"

Tony let out a breath. "Eddie Brock, I owe you my life."

...

Meanwhile, Anton, which was fighting inside the warship as Batman, and the cyborg fighting against the humanoid mecha controlled by Krang, had no idea what had happened to Tony.

Both were now highly concentrated, planning to solve the current predicament with overwhelming force.

In fact, it wasn't precisely a dilemma. It was more like fighting monsters in a game. They needed to go all out to clear the stage.

Anton was still more than fifty meters away from the lighthouse.

His face, hidden beneath the helmet, remained calm as he walked leisurely inside the warship, smoothly avoiding the artillery shells and energy rays flying around him with his impressive agility.

This was made easier by the "virus" cyborg had previously inserted into the network inside the technodrome, which greatly reduced Anton's pressure.

However, control of the warship still belonged to the commander, krang.

To stop the series of attacks targeting him, Anton needed to reach the lighthouse and take full control from krang.

On the other side, the battle between cyborg and krang had reached a fever pitch.

The close encounter between the two wasn't just a clash of skill and fighting ability, but also involved their energy weapons.

Part of cyborg's weapons were made by Earth, while others were of alien origin. Krang's humanoid mech, however, was equipped with high-end alien technology, and the power of their weapons was staggering.

The two had even reached an unspoken agreement not to resist each other head-on. Therefore, they fought strategically, ducking and dodging.

Colorful and fancy shells exploded in the air behind them from time to time, like fireworks, captivating the citizens of New York.

As time passed, the completion of the technodrome assembly reached an astonishing 91%, almost fully assembled.

Once the warship was truly completed, Earth would face an immense disaster.

Seeing that the battle above was taking too long to produce a clear winner, and with Spider-Man having entered the TCRI laboratory building without any sign of movement, Fury became nervous again.

He reached for his pager but was interrupted by a sudden explosion.

Boom!!

The battle on the road outside had ended.

The Rhino and Boar had been defeated by Arrow and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Without hesitation, the two sides exchanged glances and quickly rushed into the TCRI building to seize control of the teleportation device from the hands of the foot clan, in hopes of aiding Batman and cyborg in resolving the crisis above.

Seeing this, the remaining S.H.I.E.L.D. agents rushed into the TCRI laboratory building, not waiting for Fury.
