(Third Person POV)
There was a massive shadow cast over the army, spanning for thousands of meters. All of the soldiers that were fighting back at the hill that was fortified looked up as they saw strange airships that were flying over them.
There were dozens of them, massive and dark, slowly making their way over the army that were herded into the chokepoint.
Jason, who was on the top of the hill, merely smiled.
"Take that, assholes." He said
Suddenly, the dozens upon dozens of bomber planes that Jason had conjured using his War Magic dropped hundreds of projectiles that fell straight to the ground.
Jason watched as the rain of bombs caused several massive explosions that reached on top of his eye level. The ground shook violently as there were deafening booms that could shatter the eardrums of anyone within the span of miles.
The explosions had destroyed the front of the army's advance, completely obliterating and killing anyone who was there.
Jason watched as a massive wall of flames and smoke replaced the army he was looking at, or at least the first couple of thousands that were in front.
The army was scattering towards the back, trying to regroup. The series of explosions were enough to shatter the ground and cause thousands of them to lose their footing.
Thousands of screams could be heard from where Jason stood. He was well aware of what he had done; he had just killed hundreds if not, thousands of soldiers.
He watched as the first round of his bombers had flown into the distance and disappeared.
He sighed, "Well." He said, "I'm sure that thousands of kills ain't shit compared to their leader..."
He then rubbed his neck as he snapped his fingers, summoning a large sniper rifle into his hand.
Crouching down, Jason aimed down where the wall of flames and smoke was. He wanted to make sure there were no survivors of the bombing.
"With a bombing run like that..." He said as he scanned the area down below, "It should give me at the very least a few minutes to come up with something else...that was just to give the chokepoint some space....."
He then noticed something strange down in the impact zones.
"Hmm?" He said as he looked through the scope
He zoomed in on the scope and noticed that there were broken and shattered pieces of melting ice. Scanning through several impact zones as the smoke and flames slowly died down, he noticed that it was the case on them as well.
"Hm..." He said, "I figured someone would lead this big of an army....my luck it had to be him....."
He then immediately raised his arm and aimed his hand cannon, The Last Word at someone that appeared next to him, a couple of meters away.
Without hesitation, he opened fire.
As the bullets were about to hit the newcomer, they immediately froze and shattered upon impact.
Jason looked up to see Invel, The Winter General standing with his hands in the pockets of his coat.
"Hm..." He said
Invel, without hesitation of his own, waved his hand.
Jason then felt his entire body was suddenly covered in ice, his sniper rifle included. The only thing that wasn't frozen was his head and face.
Invel had frozen him solid. Jason could feel that his ice magic had reached all the way solidly to his bone.
He merely looked at the Shield of Spriggan with serious indifference.
"Fancy meeting you here." He said, "How'd you get up here? Hm....Teleportation Magic....guess you couldn't teleport a whole army, eh?"
Invel took a step forward, "You did a real number to said army...." He said, "You're formidable.....organizing this whole.....whatever this is....And what's more concerning is that you're not bothered one bit by being frozen....."
"Oh this?" Jason said, "Yea, nah, I'm good."
Invel's ice suddenly shattered as Jason stood up, surprising the Shield of Spriggan.
"Huh?" He said
Jason's sniper rifle then disappeared as another hand-cannon appeared in his hand. He took aim and opened fire at Invel.
Invel waved his hand and froze the bullets as they hit him. However, this time, they didn't shatter upon impact, they exploded and sent him reeling.
"What the..." Invel said
He looked at Jason's new weapon. It was a massive hand-cannon that was black and white, a spade painted on its side.
"Ace of Spades"
Jason then flipped the hand-cannon, reloading it.
"This bad boy can cause several explosions upon landing critical hits when a certain effect is active." Jason explained, "Normally, that is. But when I use it, it can explode whenever the fuck I want."
Invel patted his coat, "Interesting." He said, "You can use your toys as much as you want, Jason. But You cannot stall our armies much longer. They will break through and will reach Fairy Tail. You should've accepted our offer to join us. That was your biggest mistake."
"And your biggest mistake, at this very moment..." Jason said as he aimed his hand-cannon at Invel, "Is thinking that the bombing run that just devastated a good portion of your army was the only one."
Invel looked at him, "What do you mean?"
Suddenly, a large shadow was cast on them. Invel looked up to see dozens of bomber planes fly overhead.
"Yeap." Jason said, "The spell is still in effect, buddy."
Invel then looked at him, "You..." He said before Jason opened fired at him again
Invel froze the bullets again, but as he did so while they were in mid-trajectory, they exploded everywhere, causing his vision to be obstructed.
Jason suddenly appeared next to him, wielding a massive warhammer that spewed flames.
"Boomhammer: Blast Stream"
He swung the hammer at Invel, who jumped back and was hit by a stream of flames that combusted at him.
Invel had the flames frozen as he landed several feet away from him. He then looked up to see the bomber planes fly over the army again and drop the bombs on them.
Jason smirked, "Oh yea." He said,
"Another round of fireworks!"
