On what was once a peaceful racetrack, darkness had fallen, broken only by dim streetlights. Suddenly, dark alien shapes emerged like shadowy hunters, quietly stalking the racers. Above the Hollywood Hills, their guttural roars filled the air under the cold glow of the moon. The sleek, black forms of the aliens glistened, their shells absorbing all surrounding light. Their dripping, mucus-laden jaws opened, revealing sharp, vampiric fangs.

Thousands of these creatures prowled along the winding mountain roads, darting into the shadows as they made their way toward Los Santos, where neon lights flickered in the distance. Amid this swarm, a few dark-red-skinned aliens moved with them. These did not bear the ferocious fangs of the others and looked nearly indistinguishable from regular aliens. These were the Deadpool Aliens—the harbingers of chaos who had arrived first.

The monsters had come to the city.

Turaldo was abandoned halfway, but Dom continued to drive with Letty and Vince, pushing forward relentlessly. Along the way, they passed many scrapped vehicles and blood stains. The most haunting sight was seeing an alien creature, caught briefly in the car's headlights, dragging a body into the darkness. Dom didn't dare stop for a moment. Relying on Turaldo's jet acceleration and his expert driving, they quickly neared Pero Beach.

Once they reached the open area, sightings of alien creatures grew sparse. Upon arriving at their destination, Dom quickly opened the car door, scooped up Letty—her hands turning blue and unconscious—and headed towards the mission's designated meeting spot on Pero Beach.

By this time, over thirty other people had already gathered on the beach, waiting, their eyes fixed on the horizon.

"Hurry up!" Dom shouted as he sprinted across the sand, carrying Letty.

Los Santos.

The once-bustling city seemed frozen in time. The streets lay empty, punctuated by temporary defense lines. Under the glow of police lights and searchlights, rows of heavily armed officers stood ready. Soldiers gripped their weapons, their eyes fixed cautiously on the vacant roads ahead, while allied players hid in the shadows, waiting for the monsters to arrive.

*Los Santos City Hall*

"Report… Monsters have been spotted near Pero Beach. Some players participating in the speed competition have suffered casualties."

"They've already appeared!" A middle-aged man in a suit, slightly balding and with a serious expression, looked shocked. "How many casualties are we talking about?" he asked nervously.

"We're unsure. These monsters move in darkness, with no detectable body temperature, making it difficult to track them. They tend to appear on remote mountain roads, and most of the attacks have been on players participating in the race," Sheriff Reiner replied.

"Alright, Sheriff Reiner, send out a team to try and capture one of these creatures. We need concrete evidence, not just mission briefings."

"Understood." Sheriff Reiner nodded, then turned to leave the command room and began issuing orders.

Just moments after Reiner left, a technician monitoring the situation let out a startled gasp. "Mayor Foley, there's a situation!"

"What's wrong?" Foley asked, sensing the urgency. Ever since the R-Star mission went live, he hadn't rested, fearing the impact on the city and how many lives might be at risk.

"There's been an outbreak in the northern district. We're getting a surge of emergency calls. Somehow, a large number of monsters have infiltrated the city undetected. Our defenses missed them entirely!"

Foley's eyes widened in shock. "What?! How could this happen? Are our guards blind? These creatures have infiltrated populated areas, and no one noticed? Alert the forces immediately! Evacuate residents to a safe zone as quickly as possible!"

*North District, Los Santos*

The city's north, higher in elevation and known for its affluent neighborhoods, was one of the most guarded areas in Los Santos. However, despite the heavy security presence, the creatures managed to slip in unnoticed.

Baron, a prominent black lawyer known for his defense cases and his success through political correctness, was one of those residing in this area. His success had earned him a spot in the wealthier neighborhoods, and tonight, he was deeply unsettled.

After receiving the mission briefing from Rockstar, he had hurried home, even gathering a few friends for support. Standing by his window with a pistol in hand, Baron pulled the curtains aside to scan the empty streets. The night was dark and unnervingly silent, pressing on him like an invisible weight.

The balcony, usually a lively spot for BBQ gatherings, now lay deserted.
