Middle of the day. There is heavy motorised traffic on Yorkshire's roads, but no congestion. There are plenty of pedestrians on the streets, but not too many. Although not ideal, the conditions are good enough for the plan to be realised.
Risotto and Prosciutto stood in the alley near the exit to the street and waited patiently for the right moment to act. The time still hadn't come, although according to the information they had, they had no more than five minutes to wait. In the remaining time they could stand and rest in peace. Risotto decided to talk a bit and share his thoughts.
- What do we know about the interaction between Nan and the Stands? Nan's power can block or weaken some of the effects of the Stands. When a Stand user learns Nan, he can bypass those defences. But that's just the flowery part. More importantly, when a Stand user trains Nan, he can also get improvements for his Stand, in the form of improved characteristics and such, and some may even get new abilities! I, for example, got an increase in the range of my ability to twenty metres and a slight increase in accuracy. But at the same time, Illuso got a pretty powerful new ability. Why am I saying all this? I'm thinking, what's the potential for Nan and the Stands to actually interact? Is that all we've learnt, or is there more to it than that? It's not really simple, and it's not really clear how it all interacts and what the end result could be. What do you think?
Prosciutto looked at him with a look that simultaneously combined the emotions of incomprehension, surprise and disbelief. After a few seconds of silence he finally spoke:
- I don't understand why you told me all this, but it sounds very clever and philosophical. It makes me want to smoke. What do I think about it? I don't think shit. You tell me, when do we have to go in there?
Looking at his watch and then at the road, Risotto saw a black sedan-like car driving along the road where they were standing.
- There he is,' said Risotto, 'It's about time.
The car was far from cheap, and from the information Risotto had managed to get, it was fully armoured. That didn't matter to him, though.
Risotto and Prosciutto walked straight out onto the road and stood in front of the car they wanted when it was about to pass them. Looking through the windscreen it was obvious that there were only two people inside. The driver and the man in the back seat, who was the target. The driver honked a couple of times, then losing patience he stuck his head out of the window and started shouting:
- 'Hey, you arseholes! Go away, before I ...
Before he could finish his threat, Prosciutto immediately pulled out a gun and shot him in the head. Ignoring the panic, Risotto opened the door and got into the back seat of the car, while Prosutto pulled out the driver's body, got into his seat and drove the car away before the cops arrived.
- Who the hell are you people?! - The passenger sitting next to Risotto spoke with fear and menace in his voice, 'You have no idea who you're messing with! I...
Risotto didn't listen to him and in one swift movement cut off his ring finger with a knife.
- Whoa! - The man shrieked in pain, causing a slight smirk from Prosotto, which was visible through the rear view mirror, -What do you want?! I don't know anything!
- Oh, believe me, you know enough,' Risotto addressed him in a slightly intimidating voice, 'A little, but enough. And you're going to tell us everything.

POV of Prosciutto
Yorkshin City Centre.
Prosciutto was in one of the many multi-storey offices, of which there were plenty in the city centre. He had just gone up to one of the top floors, which wasn't much different from all the others. It was also full of office plankton, sitting at their desks and trying to pretend they were doing something important and worthwhile.
'Holy shit, I don't know how I managed to slip past the guards, but I did. It won't be a long walk, though. The place is full of cameras, and I'm sure they've already spotted me and will soon recognise me and raise the alarm. We need to find our client as soon as possible.'
Looking around the office workstations he finally found his target, who hadn't noticed him yet.
'Great! I just have to warn Pesci.'
Prosciutto took out his phone and dialled Pesci's number.
- Hello, Pesci, are you in position?
- Yeah bro, I'm on the roof.
- Good. Get ready to act. I've already found our client and I'm about to start the takeover.
- Copy that.
Prosciutto hung up.
'Oh, if only they'd thought to send just a few guards here. What am I talking about? They'll probably send something more serious. Hopefully just not too serious.'
He headed swiftly towards his goal. When he was almost to the right table, the man behind him noticed him and realised and ran.
'Shit! I knew it wouldn't be that easy.'
Prosciutto rushed after his target. Lurking between the tables and knocking down people who got in his way, he finally caught his target.
- What do you want? - Asked the man with a little fear in his voice, -I don't know anything.
- Of course he doesn't. You better shut up and move your arse!
After giving the man a little slap on the head, Prosciutto walked with him towards the office windows. However, as soon as he was a few metres away, a bunch of armed men with pistols and automatic rifles ran out of the lift. When they noticed Prosciutto, they immediately opened fire at him, not caring much about the hostage's life.
- Shit!
When he was almost hit by bullets, Proshutto managed to take cover behind the wall, and even managed to grab his gun and shoot one of the hostages, but he was slightly hit by the return fire, fortunately damaging only his clothes.
'Holy shit...'
Prosciutto's hostage twitched again, causing him to have to lay him down once more so that he almost passed out.
'Holy shit! There's quite a lot of them, one gun won't be enough. Well, I'll have to let the Stand out in that case. It's a good thing I have one new ability that will keep my hostage out of harm's way.'
- [The Grateful Dead].
Prosciutto released his Stand and within seconds the first signs of old age began to appear on the people shooting at Prosciutto. Eventually they were so slowed down and exhausted that they were firing one shot every two seconds, and some of them couldn't control the recoil at all, causing their weapons to fall out of their hands.
'Now we can act.'
Coming out of hiding, Prosciutto discharged the entire magazine of his pistol, killing all the attackers. When there was no one left in the office to interfere he and the hostage headed for the window. What was also remarkable was that the hostage hadn't aged a bit.
'My Stand's new ability is that if I touch someone, I can not only instantly age them, but also grant them immunity to old age. The true downside is that this only works as long as body contact is maintained, and it doesn't work on more than one person.'
Walking over to the window, he smashed it almost completely with a single blow and a couple of seconds later a fishing line with a hook from Pesha's fishing rod came down to him from above. Gripping the hostage tightly with one hand, Prosciutto let the hook enter his other hand and as soon as he did so the fishing line pulled him upwards.
After almost twenty seconds, Prosciutto and the hostage were on the roof, where Pesci was waiting for them.
- It took you a long time to get us up, Pesci. We could have been shot in that time.
- What can I do? It's hard to lift two people at once.
Prosciutto sighed with a small sigh of relief, then walked to the edge of the roof and looked down. Down below, right near the entrance of the building, a bunch of cars could be seen, from which armed men had already run out and headed into the building.
'Gee. As expected running downstairs isn't an option.'
Somewhere behind them came the sound of a door being kicked in. Turning around, Prosciutto saw the door leading down to the offices being tried.
- Pesci?
- I got this, bro.
Taking a swing, Pesci cast his fishing line straight into the door they were trying to kick in. When the line went through the door, he yanked it back, then the banging stopped and the sound of falling bodies was heard.
- Well done Pesci, now we need to call Melona.
Prosciutto took out his phone and dialled Melone's number.
- Hello, Melone, how long have you been waiting?!
- Don't worry, I'm on my way.
Melone hung up.
Barely had the phone conversation ended when Prosciutto saw a helicopter rapidly approaching them in the distance.
'Finally.'
A moment later, the helicopter flew up and landed on their roof. Without delay, they immediately got inside and flew away.

POV Formaggio
Pallister Airport. Night.
Formaggio walked leisurely towards the central runway, where the mob men he had an appointment with were already waiting for him. There was no one else at the airport besides him and the mobsters, at least that's how it looked.
'Holy shit, what the fuck? Why do I have to be the one to go to a meeting with these shitheads? No, I understand what the plan is. You'd have to wait for the moment and use your Stand, but still... You could have thought of something else just as effective.'
Here he finally came to the right place. The bandits were standing directly under a lamppost, and were armed with automatic rifles, shotguns, and machine pistols. Formaggio had confidence in his own strength, but the sight of them made him a little nervous. There was still some risk.
- Where are our men? - You were supposed to bring the men you kidnapped.
- Where is the information? - Asked Formaggio in reply, -You will see your men only when you provide the documents with the necessary information.
The leader looked at him angrily and then made a gesture with his hand. One of the bandits behind him pulled out a steel, securely locked case from somewhere.
'Great! If they're not fooling us, this is what we need. And anyway, if anything, we can grab one of them and he'll tell us everything.'
- Now where are our men? -The leader asked again.
'Hell, the men. It's not like we're going to give them anyone. What am I supposed to say?'
- Well...' Formaggio mumbled a little, not knowing what to say, 'You know, that's a very good question.
- You!
The leader had already drawn his pistol and was about to shoot Formaggio in the head, but the latter instantly summoned his Stand and with a single swing severed the hand in which he held the weapon.
The bandit immediately cried out in pain, and his men drew their weapons and prepared to fire, but Formaggio shrank to the size of an ant and slipped into the leader's back pocket, thus avoiding the numerous shots from the various guns.
Before the bandits had time to realise anything, Melone's purple homunculus jumped out of the darkness and instantly slit the throats of two of the bandits and disappeared back into the shadows. The bandits began firing in all directions, and the homunculus jumped out to them now and then, killing one and retreating back into the darkness. The ringleader, who had Formaggio sitting in his pocket, rushed away at this time, leaving his doomed men behind. However, he was gradually getting smaller, and his speed was decreasing with it.
Eventually, when the bandit had shrunk to the size of a rat Formaggio took his normal size, grabbed him and pulled a mirror out of his pocket.
- Hey, Illuso, let's do this. The grip is complete.
The mirror began to emit a glow and in a second Formaggio found himself in the looking glass, where Illuso was already waiting for them.
- What about the case? - Illuso asked.
- Melone will take it, but in the meantime let's deal with this.
Formaggio returned his hostage to his normal size, but as soon as he wanted to say something, he was grabbed by the throat and lifted into the air by Illuso Stand.
- We've already got the case, of course, but this piece of shit might know something too.
Having accomplished their task, they hurried out of the airport.

POV Kurapika
Port Dolei. Day.
Gyatcho and Kurapika were running along the seafront near the sweat of Dolle. On their right hand side stood a number of beautiful three and four storey houses, often with various shops on the ground floors, on their left hand side the vast sea in which ships, boats and ordinary fishing boats floated.
- Hurry up! We must hurry before he sails away! - Kurapika hurried Gyaccio.
- Don't worry, they're not going anywhere. We'll make it.
They continued to run at a steady pace. There weren't many people in the streets, which was logical since it was only a small harbour town, but it was important because it was the place where the participants of the Hunter's examination were brought.
As he looked around, memories came flooding back to Kurapiku.
- By the way, I've been here before. I had once come to this port with Gong and Leorio to take the Hunter's Examination. Those were the days.
While Kurapika was immersed in the memories of his relatively carefree days, Gyacho only scratched the back of his head, adjusted his glasses, and replied:
- Now, who Gon is, I think I know. It's that little twerp with the spiky hair. Who's Leorio? I don't know that prick.
- He's... Anyway, forget it. We're getting close.
They finally made it to the dock, but unfortunately the ship they needed had already sailed and was a hundred metres away.
- Shit! - Cussed Kurapika, -We're too late, it's already gone. Shit, what do we do? Swimming is not an option. We won't be able to keep up with him. Bitch!
- Don't be afraid. - Giaccio reassured him. We'll catch up with him.
- What? - Kurapika looked at him with incomprehension, - Do you know how to catch up with him?
- Remember I once said I could freeze the sea if I wanted to? I wasn't joking.
Giaccio stepped off the jetty and into the water, and it froze instantly. But that was just the beginning. The frost began to spread rapidly towards the departing cargo ship, gradually turning the water into an ice rink. A couple of fishing boats that got in the way were now in ice shackles. The people who had been watching behind Kurapika's back began to actively discuss what was happening right in front of their eyes.
Eventually, the frost caught up with the cargo ship and shackled it in ice.
- What did I tell you? They're not going anywhere,' Gyaccio said smugly, 'Now go on, run after them and find what we're looking for. I'll catch up with you later.
- Wow! - Kurapika marvelled, 'It's really impressive. But it doesn't look like sea level, but whatever.
He jumped down onto the ice and headed off in the direction of the ship. Whether it was his words or his own, Gyaccio became enraged and lashed out.
'He shouldn't have said anything about sea level.'
Kurapika slipped a few times along the way, but after a minute he still made it to the ship.
As soon as he climbed aboard he was immediately fired upon by the ship's guards armed with automatic weapons. He managed to hide one of the many containers the ship carried on the upper deck.
'Shit, for a moment I forgot this ship belongs to the mafia. Naturally, there's going to be an assload of security. 'Oh, well. I'm gonna kill everybody, but I'm gonna get that shit that's gonna help us decipher that code. Fire up the [Speed King].'
Kurapika pulled a pistol out of his pocket, checked the ammo, and began to exchange fire with the guards. Thanks to the power of the Stand, the bullets were already loaded with temperature, and when they hit the enemy, they dealt much more damage than usual.
Unhurried and cautious, Kurapika slowly made his way forward towards the captain's bridge. Running from container to container, he gradually reduced the number of enemies in his path and increased the number of corpses. Step by step, shot by shot.
Finally all the enemies were dead and he, having reloaded his pistol beforehand, entered the captain's bridge. Two of the captain's guards tried to stop him, but were shot before they could grab their automatic rifles. Pointing the gun at the frightened captain Kurapika turned to him:
- You know why I'm here, don't you?
The captain nodded silently in response.
- Well then, lead me to this thing.
Keeping the captain in his sights, Kurapika followed him directly to the lower deck. On the way he met Gyaccio, who had already reached the ship.
- I see you're doing well for yourself. - He said looking around.
- It was not difficult. Come on, we're getting close.
They continued onwards, straight to the lower deck.
When they got down and switched on the lights, they saw a huge number of different containers all around them. The captain led them to the one they needed. When they opened it, they saw only one large titanium safe securely fastened with a code lock.
- Open it. - Kurapika ordered the captain.
He obeyed the order without question.
When the safe was opened, they saw inside it a computer, or rather a system unit.
- What is this? - Kurapika turned to the captain, -You also have something to do with the mafia and what they do. They wouldn't have done this to anyone else. So answer me.
Covered in sweat and leaving his gaze on Kurapika and the computer, the captain spoke:
- This is a special computer that scientists have developed for special tasks. It looks like an ordinary system, but its stuffing is unusual. It has a unique processor with a so-called AI, which stands for Artificial Intelligence. It was specially designed to decipher various codes, ciphers, etc. So far, there are only two in the world.
- We're taking him. Gyaccio, grab it and let's go.
Gyaccio took the system and together with Kurapika headed for the exit to the upper deck. But before they could step onto the stairs Gyaccio said something:
- You forgot something.
.
- Oh, right. I did forget about that.
Kurapika pulled out his gun again and shot the captain in the head, who had already relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief.
