Chapter 27: Chapter 22 This Really Won't _1
```
We are now entering the phase of formulating an action plan.
Juan lived in an ordinary residence in the old town area of Tijuana, not some colossal estate or luxurious villa, but a normal two-story house with a large yard.
Of course, "normal" is relative, in a large area of civilian housing, this house with over 300 square meters was also considered a mansion.
The Zeta Group's power was not what it once was, but as a drug lord, Juan certainly wasn't short on money, so this large house was just one of his many homes.
According to Peter's intelligence, Juan had been staying in this house recently, and wherever Juan was naturally became the Zeta Group's temporary headquarters, with at least a dozen bodyguards constantly at his side.
Assassinating Juan wouldn't be easy, but there was still a chance.
After studying the information provided by Peter for a long time, Frank looked at Peter and said, "In Juan's eyes, you're not qualified to be his opponent, so Juan doesn't need to add more bodyguards for revenge against you, and he certainly doesn't need to use his own bodyguards to take you out."
After speaking, Frank spread his hands and added, "Which means, your role as bait isn't that significant. If you show up, Juan will still have a dozen bodyguards with him, if you don't, he'll still have a dozen bodyguards."
Peter shook his head with conviction and said, "That's true, Juan always has a dozen bodyguards, but there are at least fifty people in his house, ready to carry out his orders at any moment. Do you think it's easier to attack a house occupied by fifty people or by a dozen?"
There was a big difference between a dozen and over fifty. Frank nodded and asked, "So how do you plan on getting Juan's attention?"
"I'll find a way to call him and ask for negotiations. Juan will definitely not negotiate with me. He'll only send people to capture me, and that's our chance, isn't it?"
Gao Guang got it, after all that talk, it came down to a simple trick of luring the tiger away from the mountain.
Frank said seriously, "You can't just make a call, you have to show up, make Juan believe he has found you. Then he'll send as many people as possible, and that's our chance. Listen, if there are too many people around Juan, we can't make a move, you figure out the rest."
Peter hesitated for a moment, then nodded and agreed, "Fine! I'll show myself, but you have to move fast. If you can't take out Juan before his men catch me, the plan won't work. I'll have to escape before Juan's men arrive."
Frank exhaled and declared, "Let's do it then, get moving."
There was no time to come up with a detailed plan, nor was it really necessary. Just six people, including Peter, trying to take down the boss of the Zeta Group couldn't possibly be foolproof. They could only take things one step at a time, acting if there was an opportunity and backing off if there wasn't.
However, Peter was right about one thing, Juan would never expect Peter was still plotting a counterattack.
Frank looked over his people, pondered a moment, and then instructed George, "You protect Peter."
Saying "protect" was essentially synonymous with surveillance, and there was no need to say more. George nodded and confirmed, "Got it."
Frank glanced at his watch and said, "It's going to be dark soon. We won't wait until the wee hours. Let's move during dinner time. The four of us will approach Juan's house now, you and Peter find a suitable spot to wait for us to get in position. I'll notify you when it's time."
George nodded again and acknowledged, "Understood."
"If we make our move, regardless of success or failure, you two pull out immediately. That's the plan."
Once the decision to act was made, the rest was simple. After confirming the specifics, Frank stood up and said sternly, "Let's head out."
Peter sighed and extended his hand to Frank, wishing, "Good luck."
Frank shook hands with Peter and said in a low voice, "Stay safe, all our money is on you now."
With a laugh, Peter got into a car with Joe, and the two drove away from the spot.
After Joe took Peter away, Frank let out a long sigh and murmured, "Let's leave as well."
They wouldn't take their own car; they had rented two cars in the afternoon. For the operation, they would use the rented cars, which could be easily abandoned later, but the equipment was still in their own car.
John opened the trunk and took out a long, black bag.
The gear for the three of them was similar, all packed in black bags, and as Gao Guang looked at the bag, which was long enough to fit rifles but seemed incapable of holding a bulletproof vest.
John tossed the bag into Gao Guang's arms and, while he was busy catching it, casually placed a bulletproof vest on top of the bag, saying, "Yours."
John handed out a second bag to Frank, then one to Rubber, and finally took out his own. After looking around to ensure no one was present, he said, "No one's around; let's gear up here."
Frank ordered, "Get the weapons ready, Rubber and I will sit in the front, don't put on the bulletproof vests yet, Bottle Cap, and the Kung Fu kid put on your vests."
John put on the bulletproof vest and then opened the bag, taking out a tactical vest, a radio, a headset, with magazines already attached to the vest.
Lastly, John picked up an HK416 rifle.
Gao Guang's bag contained the same items. He first put on the bulletproof vest, but when he tried to pull the tactical vest over it, he was somewhat... clumsy.
Gao Guang, who saw and touched a real tactical vest for the first time, genuinely didn't know how to handle all the buckles. He hadn't been interested in such gear, rarely studying it, so when it came time to use it, he was naturally at a loss.
Frank noticed Gao Guang's movements, frowned, and said, "Hm, almost forgot the Kung Fu kid is still a rookie. Let's switch places; you take the front seat."
Suddenly, Rubber spoke up, "I'm also ready to attack at any moment. Gao, you drive, I'll sit shotgun."
"What?"
Gao Guang was stunned. Stopping mid-way as he removed the vest, he responded in bewilderment, "Drive? Me drive? But I can't drive!"
The three who had been retrieving equipment from their bags all stopped and looked at Gao Guang together.
After a moment of stunned silence, John said with extreme astonishment, "You can't drive?"
Rubber exaggeratedly exclaimed, "You're joking, right? You can't drive?"
Frank said in disbelief, "F*ck, you actually can't drive?"
