'What?! What is the limit of this human?!'

Alex smirked and tightened his grip. Instantly his eyes sparkled with a red glint as his sword was enveloped into a scarlet aura.

Megicula raised her eyebrow as she could feel the terrifying might this attack could cause. Once Alex launched it, it would deal massive damage, capable of devastating half of a city.

It really surprised the Supreme Devil Megicula from the Underworld!

Not only she but also Lolopechka, Undine, and Gadjah were speechless by the intensity of the attack.

Undine could feel that if ge launched that attack at her, she might not be able to recover for a long time and Lolopechka might really die for real.

"Sayonara~ Megicula..." Alex grinned and brought down his blade vertically.

'Chaos Magic: Chaos-Coated Final Heaven!"

Whoosh-!

A massive red slash cut the ground along with the space itself in half, leaving a deep ravine on the ground.

The slash was so fast and huge that it seemed to cut even the sky itself.

Gadjah collapsed to his knees, the strength in his legs utterly failing him as though the weight of the universe had anchored him to the ground. His eyes widened beyond their natural limits, shimmering with a mix of disbelief and reverence, and his mouth hung open, words choking in his throat like unspoken prayers. He could do nothing but stare, his mind struggling to process the overwhelming reality before him.

It was as if his soul itself had been struck by a thunderclap of awe.

Lolopechka and Undine were frozen statues of disbelief, their breaths caught somewhere between a gasp and a sob. Their bodies trembled ever so faintly, like leaves teetering on the edge of a storm. Eyes wide and unblinking, they bore witness to a spectacle that seemed to defy comprehension, their hearts thundering as if trying to keep pace with the sheer enormity of the moment.

Even their shadows seemed to cower behind them, unable to grasp the magnitude of what lay before their gaze.

The entire place was enshrouded in deathly silence as the red slash devoured the light, completely annihilating it.

"Aahhh!!"

A shrill destroyed that silence as Vanica screamed in pain.

Lolopechka raised her head with others and saw Vanica holding her right shoulder which was missing an arm.

It sent another astonishment to the Queen of the Heart Kingdom.

"Close your mouth. You are so annoying." Alex stared ahead and said to Vanica who was still screaming at the top of her lungs, the pain was really something else.

Even Megicula was left shocked as she caught the sight of the surface of the wound.

A thin layer of mana had wrapped around it, forcing the Healing magic to work at all.

"Impossible!" Megicula could not help but scream in shock, the Supreme Devil trembling in horror for the first time in her life.

Alex took the chance and teleported in front of the ragged devil host.

Blitzing through the air and surging with immense power, he tightened his hand into a fist and punched out.

Faced with such an attack, both Megicula and her host Vanica were without a way to defend themselves, taking the attack head-on.

BANG!!

Feeling the bones in the bodies shatter, Vanica and Megicula flew like a missile launched from the RPG, burying into the opposite wall. The wall was unable to take the impact and fell down as the duo continued ahead, finally hitting the city below and cutting the ground open along the way.

A single punch and Vanica was unable to maintain her consciousness, her vision spinning in front of her eyes.

'What kind of magic is this?'

Laying in a broken pile of rubble and covered in dust, Megicula lay stunned at the fact that even at 70% Vanica had no way to resist Alex's power. Even with her taking control of half of her body and buffing it even further, she was unable to fully comprehend just how any of this was possible.

"What a stimulating experience."

Musing to herself, both her and Vanica's interest in Alex and his magic deepened.

"He's great isn't he~" Vanica smiled enjoying the feeling of fighting someone way stronger than herself.

Feeling the damage in her body slowly beginning to heal, the beating of Vanica's heart sped up as she cleaned herself of the rubble and flew high into the air.

"WOW!!" She gasped marvelling at the distance they had travelled.

"He's something else!"

Seeing the two in the air, Alex slowly walked over step by step, taking each step into the sky, leaving Megicula again shell-shocked.

If it was just floating in the sky or flying, it was another thing but walking in the sky with such an ease, it was even difficult for Beelzebub, another Supreme Devil like her.

Megicula was getting greedier and greedier, wanting to experiment with the young man standing in front.

"Do you have anything to show me, Megicula?" Alex's smile had twisted into a devilish grin, much akin to Zagred's ugly smile as he was completely engrossed in the fight now, wanting to experience more.

BOOM!!

Staggering a little and coughing out two mouthfuls of blood, the bloodied smile on Vanica's face continued to widen.

"MOREEEE!!" She roared and a high amount of blood magic burst forth from her grimoire. It changed its shape into a beast with an upper body with clawed hands, a gaping mouth, and no eyes.

RAAAAAAAAWWWWWRRRRRR!!

Facing the oncoming fist of the [Red Beast], Alex's eyes were filled with a pitch-black darkness.

"Let's do this!"

Asta drew on the power Liebe and the devil's brother joined him by assimilating into his own body. His body was covered in pitch-black armor with red engravings all over it, especially the chest area. Two large black wings bloomed from his black looking very majestic. Four black horns sprouted from his head and a crown-shaped pattern formed over his forehead. Two black marks traced up his neck to his forehead, crossing over his eyes, both of which had turned red and had vertically-slit pupils.

Slashing vertically in front of him, his sword pierced through the curse-powered blood beast, like a hot knife cutting tofu.

'He can draw such power from his devil reaching such a level! What an amazing talent! And what is his magic? He still has not revealed everything in his arsenal yet...'

Reigning over her own layer in the underworld and having come across many human mages in the human world via her contract with Vanica. Megicula had seen many different types of magic types in her long life. But even with all that experience under her belt, she still couldn't figure out what Alex's magic attribute was.

The only thing she could gather was that his power was arcane in nature and far surpassed that of a mere stage 0 mage.

It was just a shame that Vanica was unable to bring out any more of her power. She really wanted to see how he would handle the true power of Curse-Warding Magic.

Sharing similar thoughts to her, Vanica too was unsatisfied with the amount of power she currently wielded. While she was enjoying what she could, she knew that there lay a higher layer of ecstasy just out of her reach.
