Chapter 107: Chapter 105: "Obito, You're Just Too Low-Key!"
Chapter 105: "Obito, You're Just Too Low-Key!"
"Seriously! I absolutely detest people who make my job harder—especially when they're not even people," Uchiha Yi muttered, staring at the rolling form of the Three-Tails with an expression of mild irritation.
The mission wasn't going as smoothly as he'd hoped, but it wasn't anything that warranted panic either.
Ryūjin Jakka had proven too powerful for capturing targets alive, as even the slightest mistake could destroy the Three-Tails' body and possibly its soul, rendering the beast incapable of revival. Capturing a tailed beast was difficult enough without introducing such risks.
With a sigh, Uchiha Yi decided to switch tactics.

Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan: Activated
The evolutionary power of the Uchiha clan's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan was something few had witnessed. Achieving it typically required merging the Mangekyō Sharingan of a close blood relative.
When the Uchiha clan was destroyed, Yi's Hollow Flame had absorbed the essence of Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha. Though Yi wasn't biologically related to them, the energy and bloodline integration satisfied the condition for unlocking the Eternal Mangekyō.
For years now, Yi had wielded this ultimate power, but there were few challenges that truly warranted its use. The Three-Tails, however, was a perfect opportunity to put it to the test.
---
"Susano'o, Stage Three—Blazing Titan!"
Fiery red chakra erupted around Yi, forming a massive humanoid figure. The towering Susano'o, nearly 100 meters tall, stood like a fiery god amidst the scorched landscape.
The Three-Tails, despite its considerable size, looked diminutive in comparison.
The turtle-like beast roared and rolled forward again, trying to crush the blazing titan under its armored bulk.
"Not happening," Yi said coolly.
The Susano'o raised its enormous flaming blade. Avoiding the cutting edge to prevent killing the beast outright, it swung the flat of the blade down like a club.
DUANG!
The impact reverberated across the battlefield. The Three-Tails momentarily stopped moving, dazed by the force of the strike. Stars swirled in its eyes as it stumbled, unable to maintain its momentum.
"Not bad," Yi mused, a smirk tugging at his lips. "But I'm not done yet."
The Susano'o struck again and again, hammering the beast relentlessly. Each blow sent shockwaves through the ground, leaving the Three-Tails too battered and stunned to continue its resistance.
When the creature tried to muster its chakra for recovery, Yi responded with Amaterasu, surrounding the beast in black flames. Within moments, the beast's armor was seared and cracked, and it collapsed under its injuries.
The Fire Release: Heavenly Prison technique, which had already been suppressing the Three-Tails' chakra, ensured that it couldn't regenerate or fight back further.

"Time to Wrap This Up"
Just as Yi was about to finish sealing the Three-Tails, his enhanced vision picked up movement in the distance.
Through his Kaleidoscope of Clarity ability, he spotted the Fifth Mizukage, Mei Terumī, leading a contingent of Kirigakure shinobi toward the battlefield.
"Here comes the cleanup crew," Yi muttered.
He had no interest in a confrontation with Mei. With a snap of his fingers, the Susano'o scooped up the unconscious Three-Tails. Yi activated his Fire Release: Ashen Flight, disappearing in a blazing streak across the horizon.

Mei Terumī's Frustration
By the time Mei and her forces arrived, the battlefield was eerily silent.
The once-lush lakebed was now a desolate wasteland, scorched and cracked beyond recognition. The Three-Tails was gone.
Mei clenched her fists in frustration. Her plans to stabilize Kirigakure's political and military standing had depended heavily on reclaiming the Three-Tails.
"How could this have happened?" she hissed.
One of her lieutenants, Ao, stepped forward, his Byakugan scanning the area.
"Mei, I managed to glimpse the culprit before they left," Ao said. "It was a man wearing an orange spiral mask. He commanded a fiery giant that subdued the Three-Tails before taking it away."
Mei's eyes narrowed. "Do you think it was Uchiha Yi from Amegakure?"
Ao hesitated before replying, "It's highly likely. His mastery of fire techniques is unparalleled, and the mask matches his descriptions. However, without concrete evidence—"
"Enough," Mei interrupted. She was no stranger to the political delicacy of the situation. Publicly accusing Amegakure's heir without proof could lead to unnecessary conflict.
"Send word to the other villages," Mei ordered. "Inform them that someone is targeting tailed beasts. But do not mention Yi by name—not yet."

Delivering the Three-Tails
Meanwhile, Yi returned to the Akatsuki's hideout, where Obito (still posing as Tobi) was overseeing the organization's progress.
"Here's your Three-Tails," Yi said nonchalantly, tossing the massive beast into the center of the chamber.
Obito surveyed the captured beast, his single visible eye gleaming with satisfaction.
"Well done," he said. "With the capture of the Two-Tails, Three-Tails, and Seven-Tails, we're making excellent progress. Only the One-Tail, Six-Tails, Eight-Tails, and Nine-Tails remain."
Obito's attention shifted to Yi, and his mood darkened as he noticed something peculiar. Yi was wearing an orange spiral mask identical to his own and had even altered his voice to mimic Obito's exaggerated "Tobi" persona.
"Yi, what exactly are you doing?" Obito asked, irritation seeping into his tone.
"Oh, this?" Yi said, feigning innocence as he removed the mask, revealing a broad grin. "I just thought the mask was really cool. And as the leader of Akatsuki, you're way too low-key! I figured I'd help boost your reputation a bit."
Obito felt a headache coming on. Knowing Yi, this "help" was likely to cause chaos.
"Yi…" Obito growled, struggling to maintain his composure.
"Relax, relax," Yi said, raising his hands in mock surrender. "We're on the verge of conquering the entire shinobi world! A little theatrics can't hurt."
The other Akatsuki members, overhearing the exchange, exchanged amused glances. Yi's antics never failed to liven up their otherwise grim organization.
Obito sighed, resigning himself to the chaos. As much as Yi drove him insane, there was no denying his strength or usefulness.
For now, Obito would let it slide. But he made a mental note to keep a closer eye on Yi's "theatrics" in the future.
