Chapter 130: 130 Kidnaped Celestial Dragon
"I see," Lynch said, before finally leaving for the Sabaody Archipelago.
At the Sabaody Archipelago, chaos unfolded.
"Hahahaha, Celestial Dragons are nothing special!" a fierce-looking pirate laughed, standing over someone who clearly is a Celestial Dragon.
Saint Boluer, dressed in the typical oversized garments of the Celestial Dragons, looked even more bloated beneath the layers.
Tears and snot filled the inside of his round glass helmet, and he had wet himself in fear.
Terrified and humiliated, Boluer screamed at the Marines nearby, "You useless fools! Why aren't you saving me?!"
"Fuck, shut up!"
The big pirate was not polite and slapped him hard, shattering the glass cover on Celestial Dragons' face.
The glass fragments were mixed with his rough palm. Hit the Celestial Dragons hard in the face.
"Snapped!"
"Ahhhhhh!!!",
Celestial Dragons' head was almost knocked out, with glass fragments embedded in his face and blood flowing uncontrollably.
This slap made Celestial Dragons' face grow bigger at least twice, causing him to scream in agony.
"Damn it, you're still screaming?" The pirate snarled, delivering another brutal slap.
Several of the Celestial Dragon's teeth flew out.
This time, Boluer clenched his mouth shut, too terrified to make a sound. But the pirate smirked and hit him again, knocking him to the ground.
After toying with him, the pirate grinned. "Damn it man, messing with Celestial Dragons is too fun. I could get addicted."
To Boluer, the pirate looked like a demon. He fainted in terror, but that didn't stop the pirate.
He spat on the Celestial Dragon's face and sneered, "If it weren't for you Celestial Dragons, I wouldn't have become a pirate."
He thought back to when he was just an ordinary person.
Everything changed when his pregnant mother couldn't kneel fast enough for the Celestial Dragons and was killed for it.
Not long after, his father passed away from grief. His uncle took over the family property, and he was thrown out, left with nothing...
The Marines around him were afraid to step forward.
With the Celestial Dragons in the hands of the big pirate, all they can do is surround the place.
This big pirate is called Connor, and he has a bounty of 530 million. He is very powerful, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to capture a Celestial Dragon.
It's strange that this big pirate didn't run away or kill the Celestial Dragons after he caught them. He just waited here, as if he was waiting for someone.
The next moment, Lynch fell from the sky indifferently.
"Great, it's Admiral Sun Candle!"
"The Admiral Sun Candle is here, there is hope!"
"Admiral Sun Candle, we're counting on you!"
The group of Marines felt a surge of relief upon seeing Lynch, like they had just found a lifeline.
Lynch, however, remained unfazed. "I don't have time for games. State your demands quickly," he said, taking a quick glance at the scene and noticing something unusual.
A strange vine-like object was coiled around the heart of the Celestial Dragon.
Whatever Devil Fruit power was at play, it seemed to be something new and dangerous.
If the big pirate were killed now, the Celestial Dragon would be crushed instantly.
Lynch couldn't afford to let that happen in front of everyone—it would damage his reputation.
Even if the Celestial Dragon died later, Lynch needed to at least make it look like he tried.
Acting too quickly would make things too obvious.
Besides, if Lynch wanted the Celestial Dragon dead, he would have to handle it personally.
Every Celestial Dragon was a valuable asset to him.
Connor met Lynch's calm, unreadable gaze and felt a sudden panic. It was as if his hidden intentions had already been seen through.
In front of this man, Connor felt as if he had been stripped naked, without any secrets at all.
He steeled himself, laughed loudly, picked up Celestial Dragons' body, and threatened as he retreated to the shore: "Don't even move, or I will kill him immediately!"
Once at a safe distance, Connor shouted again, "Admiral Sun Candle, come with me!"
"I'm a timid person, so it's best not to make any sudden moves. Otherwise… hmph."
Lynch casually put his hands in his pockets and followed Connor, acting as if he were on a leisurely outing.
This relaxed demeanor only seemed to increase the pressure on Connor.
When they reached the shore, a coated boat rose from the seabed, clearly waiting for them.
Connor jumped onto the pirate ship and gestured for Lynch to join him. Lynch smiled brightly and walked up the gangplank.
"Don't follow the remaining Marines, or I'll kill the Celestial Dragons immediately!"
As the ship slowly sailed away from the Sabaody Archipelago, the Marines held back, feeling the pressure of Connor's threat.
Connor breathed a sigh of relief, thinking the mission was halfway done, but then Lynch's voice tightened his heart again.
"You say, how about I kill you right here?"
Connor broke out in a cold sweat, soaking his clothes.
His instincts told him Lynch was serious—he really would do it!
"You can't do this, sir! I have a hostage! He'll die if you kill me!"
In his sheer panic, the big pirate slipped into using a respectful title.
Since becoming a pirate, Connor had always been arrogant, but this was the first time he had been so polite.
"Wait, you kidnapped him. Why would you threaten me with it?"
Lynch's words left Connor even more confused. What was going on?
Why did it sound... so reasonable?
"No, no, he must be trying to mess with my mind. That has to be it!"
"Admiral, you're a dog of the World Government and can't ignore the safety of the Celestial Dragons."
"By the way, I think I'm overthinking this. Why would he say that? Does he really dare to kill me?"
As these thoughts raced through his mind,
Connor was drenched in cold sweat. Lynch's image began to seem even more unpredictable to him.
"Don't be afraid. While I could do it, I won't kill you."
With just a few words, Lynch established control of the situation.
"Now tell me, who is your boss?"
"What?!"
Connor couldn't believe it. How could Lynch have guessed that? It was an incredible display of insight.
Connor was so confused that he kept backing away until he hit the fence.
"I really guessed it—who could it be?"
Lynch had been guessing at first, but Connor's reaction made him certain.
Noticing the big pirate's hesitation, Lynch chuckled, "If you don't want to tell me, that's fine. Either way, I want to meet the person behind you."
Lynch felt like the other party was trying getting close to him.
If he didn't figure things out and let the mastermind behind the scenes slip away, he worried he wouldn't be able to sleep or eat peacefully in the future.
At that moment, Connor no longer dared to speak to Lynch, fearing that he couldn't handle the pressure. What kind of person was Lynch?
He hadn't said much, yet he seemed to know everything. It was terrifying.
