Chapter 31: Diving
Haru then looked at Swampert. "If Professor Elm is curect your Ability should have changed
Haru Pokédex light up, as he saw his stats fro Swampert
Swamper - Water/Ground Type

Haru chuckled to himself, looking at Swampert's new stats displayed on the Pokédex.
"Torrent, huh? Guess it fits you better now that you've evolved. Still, those other trainers must've had rocks for brains to let someone like you go," Haru said, patting Swampert's shoulder with a grin. "Their loss, my gain."
Swampert let out a proud growl, puffing its chest as if to agree.
Casey crossed her arms, smirking. "They probably couldn't handle how awesome Swampert is now. Some people just don't know talent when they see it."
Jessie leaned against the boat railing, tossing her new Gyarados's Pokéball in her hand. "Well, their mistake brought Swampert to you, Haru. I'd say you're both better off."
James adjusted his shirt. "And with that Torrent ability, Swampert's going to be even scarier when it's in a pinch. I almost feel bad for the next gym leader... almost."
Haru laughed. "Almost is right. Swampert's about to dominate. And now with Ice Punch in the mix, we've got even more coverage. I think we're more than ready for the next challenge."
The group nodded in agreement, their confidence renewed after the intense battle. Haru looked at Swampert one more time, his expression serious yet proud.
"Alright, buddy. You've come a long way, but we're just getting started. Let's keep proving everyone wrong about you and show them what a real team looks like."
Swampert roared in agreement, the water rippling around it as if mirroring its determination. With their spirits high and their bond stronger than ever, the group set their sights on the next leg of their journey, ready for whatever challenges awaited them.
After that the group went on a Diving, will more like Only Haru and Casey as then Casey spot a lanturn and she captures it, as she smiled one thing Haru will never understand about this world is, even after living once in this world, how can they breath and talk under water but can't see.
As then Swampert then started to dragg Haru as they moved, Haru felt like he was being ragged doll, something was calming out to Swampert as then it stopped next to a rock Swampert used Ice Punch and broke the rock in half as the was one gem, with a particular gem, they help Swampert evolve again.
As the shimmering gem was revealed, its glow illuminated the water around them. Haru's eyes widened as he recognized it immediately.
"A Swampertite..." Haru murmured, his voice carrying a mixture of awe and excitement. He reached out to touch the Mega Stone, feeling its energy pulse beneath his fingertips.
Swampert growled softly, nudging Haru with its large head, as if urging him to take it. Haru nodded, taking the stone carefully and holding it close. "This... this is incredible. Swampert, this is going to take you to a whole new level."
Casey swam over, her Lanturn's lights glowing brightly. "Wow, Haru! That's a Mega Stone, right? You're lucky Swampert led you here. It's like it knew."
Haru glanced at Swampert, who seemed unusually calm and focused. "Yeah... it's almost like something was calling it. This has to be fate."
Casey grinned, patting her Lanturn. "You know, with that, we're going to be unstoppable in the next gym. I mean, Mega Evolution? That's huge!"
Haru smirked. "It's not just about the power. It's about the bond between me and Swampert. This will take everything we've been through and push it even further."
Casey then looked around. "Didn't Jasmine say you need a key stone".
Haru then release as he looked around and soon did Casey, they even looked at the broken rock but there was no Key stone, as they came out of the water
As Haru and Casey surfaced from the water, the cool air felt refreshing against their damp skin. Swampert swam alongside them, carrying the gleaming Swampertite in its hand as they approached the shore.
Casey wiped the water from her face, looking over at Haru with a grin. "That was insane, Haru. You found a Mega Stone for Swampert just like that! But..." She glanced at him, a thoughtful expression crossing her face. "Jasmine mentioned you'd need a Key Stone for Mega Evolution, right? Where's yours?"
Haru looked down at the Swampertite, still in awe of the gem's power. "Yeah... I remember. But we didn't find a Key Stone underwater. I guess that's the next part of the journey, huh?"
Swampert growled softly in agreement, holding the Swampertite tightly in its paws. Haru looked at it, feeling the weight of the stone's potential. "We'll find it. I'm sure of it."
Casey frowned slightly. "But where do we even start looking? The Key Stone is something so specific... I'm not sure where you'd find one. Maybe we should ask around in town?"
Haru paused for a moment, the idea forming in his mind. "You're right. We need to get to the next town anyway. We'll ask around. Someone there might have the knowledge we need."
As they made their way back to the shore, the sound of the waves crashing in the distance was calming, almost reassuring. Haru felt that the pieces were falling into place, and his bond with Swampert had only strengthened in that brief underwater moment.
"We'll figure it out, Swampert," Haru said, his voice filled with determination. "We're one step closer to unlocking your full potential."
Swampert nodded, the gem still glowing faintly, and Haru couldn't help but smile. It was clear to him now—this was just the beginning of their adventure, and with every new challenge, their connection would only grow stronger.
Casey raised an eyebrow. "I guess that means we're headed to the next gym now, huh? Mega Evolution and all."
"Yeah," Haru grinned. "But first, let's find that Key Stone. We'll be unstoppable once we have it."
With that, the group set off back to town, ready to continue their journey and take the next step in their adventure—because with Swampert's new power, nothing was going to stand in their way.
They return back to the boat as they dried of as Haru went to his room and Called Professor Elm as he picked up his phone.
Haru sat on the edge of his bed, towel still draped over his shoulders as he pulled out his flip phone. His fingers quickly dialed Professor Elm's number. The phone rang for a few moments before the professor's familiar voice came through the line.
"Hello, Haru! How's everything going on your journey?" Professor Elm asked enthusiastically.
"Hey, Professor," Haru began, a hint of excitement in his voice. "I think I found something big today. I was diving with Casey, and Swampert led me to this amazing gem—turns out it's a Swampertite! I think it can help Swampert Mega Evolve!"
There was a brief silence on the other end of the line, followed by a pleased chuckle. "A Swampertite, you say? That's incredible, Haru! It sounds like your bond with Swampert is growing stronger. But you're right about needing a Key Stone to use Mega Evolution. Have you found one yet?"
Haru frowned slightly, his excitement dampened by the reminder. "Not yet. Casey and I searched the area, but we couldn't find anything like it. Do you have any ideas on where I might find one?"
Professor then called back. "Oh you haven't, will don't worry I can call up and old freind, the professor of Hoen Region, he has a Key stone lay around, may take a few days to arrived
Haru's face lit up at the mention of a Key Stone being available. "You really think you can get one from the Hoenn professor? That's awesome, Professor Elm. I really appreciate it."
Professor Elm's voice came through with a reassuring tone. "Of course! I've known Steven Stone for years. He's quite the expert on stones, especially rare ones like Key Stones. It might take a few days, but I'll have him send one your way as soon as possible. You'll need that to unlock Swampert's potential."
Haru nodded eagerly, feeling a rush of excitement again. "Thanks so much! I'll make sure Swampert and I are ready by the time it gets here."
Professor Elm chuckled. "I know you two will be just fine. You've already come so far with your Pokémon. Keep up the good work, Haru. And don't forget to enjoy the journey along the way."
"Will do, Professor," Haru said with a smile, feeling reassured. "I'll keep in touch if anything comes up. Talk to you soon!"
"Take care, Haru. Good luck, and I look forward to hearing about your next adventure."
With that, Haru ended the call and set the phone down. He couldn't help but feel a little more at ease knowing that the Key Stone would be on its way soon. With Swampertite and the promise of a Key Stone, Mega Evolution was now within reach.
Haru, Jessie, James and Casey took a relaxing moment on the boat as they finally made there way to Clanwood city, to get Haru 5th Gym Badges and train, as they are ready for what comes next as they parked the boat there as then they heard something.
Haru blinked. "It is just me or is there a speed boat coming out way".
Casey then blinked. "It is eveyrone fuck"
As they moved out of the way, it crashed into the boat as both the speed boat and the boat that Haru bought was now broken as Haru checked who did and saw on the speed boat was, Ash, Brock, Misty and will a suprise to Haru the fourth member of the group was Eusine
Haru looked at them. "Just why, this why I don't buy things"
The group stood in stunned silence as the wreckage of both boats slowly drifted in the water. Haru stood up straight, running a hand through his hair in frustration, his eyes narrowing as he saw the familiar faces on the speedboat.
"Seriously? Of all the people..." Haru muttered under his breath. He turned to Jessie, James, and Casey, who were also trying to process the scene.
Jessie was the first to speak, arms crossed. "This is the last time we go near a speedboat, I swear."
James raised an eyebrow. "Who even lets a group of trainers use a speedboat like that?"
Casey, ever the optimist, just sighed. "Well, at least it's them and not some random strangers."
Haru let out a deep breath, trying to keep his cool. "Well, there's no point in complaining now. Let's just see what happens next."
As the wrecked boats slowly stopped floating and began to sink, Ash, Brock, Misty, and Eusine managed to untangle themselves from the mess, looking somewhat sheepish.
"Uh... sorry about that," Ash said, scratching the back of his head, his voice full of awkwardness. "We didn't mean to hit your boat."
Misty shook her head, looking unimpressed. "Ash, you really need to stop trying to race everywhere."
Eusine stepped forward, adjusting his glasses, and flashed Haru a polite smile. "It seems we've had a bit of an accident. I didn't expect to run into you here."
Haru raised an eyebrow at Eusine, surprised. "What are you doing here? I thought you were still chasing after Suicune?"
Eusine chuckled softly. "I'm not just obsessed with Suicune, you know. I'm here on official business. A bit of a detour, but I heard rumors about an unusual occurrence in Clanwood City. It seemed... interesting."
"Typical Eusine," Haru said with a smirk, "You can't stay away from Suicune for too long."
Brock, trying to lighten the mood, spoke up. "Look, how about we make it up to you? We'll get you a new boat, and while we're at it, how about a little battle to make things even?"
Ash grinned. "Yeah! We'll totally make up for this! Let's have a good match!"
Haru looked at the wreckage and then back at Ash and the others. "Fine, fine. But we're not going easy on you. I'm here to challenge the Gym and get my fifth badge, so you better be ready."
Jessie, James, and Casey all looked at Haru as if he were crazy, but they quickly nodded in agreement.
Casey gave Haru a friendly punch on the shoulder. "Let's show them what we've got. Maybe some training could help us all get in sync."
Haru smiled, glad to have his team ready. "Alright then, bring it on, guys."
With the challenge set and the tension in the air, the group prepared for a battle that was bound to get intense—yet still full of that familiar chaos that came whenever Ash and his friends were involved.
Eusine then saw something. "Is that what I see, my eyes aren't playing tricks on me".
Haru was shocked. "Yeah, no I see if as well".
Everyone then saw the was Suicune, as then it landed next to Haru ran around him and then nodded and then left.
Haru stood frozen, his mouth slightly agape as Suicune circled around him. The Legendary Pokémon's sleek, elegant form shimmered under the sunlight as it gracefully danced around him, its serene, almost mystical presence overwhelming. Everyone else was in awe, but no one more than Eusine, whose eyes were wide with disbelief.
Eusine blinked rapidly, trying to comprehend what he had just witnessed. "Two for two, huh?" he muttered under his breath, a mixture of awe and frustration in his voice. "I can't believe this. Suicune... it chose you again."
Haru, still a little stunned by the encounter, finally spoke up. "Yeah, it looks like it. I wasn't expecting this at all. Second time meeting Suicune and it—" He paused, glancing around at the others. "It just... ran around me like it recognized me. It nodded at me, like it was giving its approval. And then just left."
Casey, still catching her breath from the sight, couldn't help but chuckle. "That's insane. You're like... Suicune's new favorite person or something."
Brock stepped forward, looking impressed. "I mean, I've heard stories, but to actually see it like this? That's incredible."
Misty gave Eusine a sympathetic look. "You were so focused on finding Suicune for so long, and now it just... runs around Haru?"
Eusine stood there in disbelief for a moment, his hands pressed together as if in silent prayer. "I've spent years searching for Suicune, and it just appears to him... This is... unbelievable." He shook his head, still trying to process everything. "But if Suicune has chosen you, that's something special."
Haru glanced at Eusine, his expression softening a bit. "Look, Eusine, I didn't plan for this. I have no idea why Suicune showed up, but I guess... I'm grateful. And if it's something that helps you with your journey too, I'm more than willing to share what I know."
Eusine finally seemed to calm down, nodding slowly. "You're not like most trainers, Haru. You and your Pokémon share a bond that's rare. Maybe Suicune recognizes that."
Ash, who had been observing quietly, grinned widely. "Wow, Haru, first you get a Mega Stone for Swampert, and now Suicune shows up to you like it's no big deal. You're on fire!"
James, always ready to make a sarcastic comment, crossed his arms and smirked. "Haru's the lucky one, huh? First the Swampertite, now this. Some of us are just born with the Midas touch."
Haru shrugged, though he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. "I just keep going with the flow. But this... this is beyond anything I expected."
Casey nodded, watching Suicune vanish into the horizon. "Well, now you've got Suicune's approval. Maybe next, the world's going to give you a trophy."
Eusine sighed, but his expression softened. "You've earned it, Haru. If there's anything I can do to help, or if you need more information about Suicune or the Legendary Beasts, don't hesitate to ask."
Haru gave a small smile, his hand on Swampert's head, who seemed just as perplexed as he was. "Thanks, Eusine. I'll keep that in mind."
With that, the group finally turned their attention to the next challenge—the upcoming gym battle in Clanwood City. But the encounter with Suicune had changed the course of their journey, and Haru couldn't shake the feeling that his bond with Legendary Pokémon was just beginning.
