Eun Chen was standing on a cliff of a mountain dressed in a black robe, her sword was stained with the blood of those she had slained, her face had streaks of blood but she was not hurt, her hair was flowed in the response of the breeze, at that moment a figure dressed in a black robe emerged standing at the back of her, Eun Chen suspecting someone was at the back of her turned around and saw him, he walked closer to her as they both looked at the view of a barren land put before them, Eun Chen threw her sword on the ground bowing her head, "why did you take me?", she asked, the long awaited question she had been meaning to ask, the man in black cloak smirked, his hands folded to his back, "we are the same,...both abandoned by the world, when I saw you that day,.....", he said turning to Eun Chen, " I felt the need to help out a lost soul, whose parents was killed unjustly by the royal family", said the man handing her a sword, it had an inscription written on it which said, " the blood for our people", Eun Chen turned over the sword to the side, almost recognizing it , " this is from Gwengochan, the warriors I defeated always had this sword", said Eun Chen looking at the man curiously, " why did you give me this?", asked Eun Chen, the man grinned, then looked at the barren land they stood upon, then his voice turned serious, " use your enemy,...to fight your enemy, that way killing them will be more of a pleasure than a chore", he said with a grin.

Present

Looking at Min yu now was more of a motivation to end their blood line, clenching her first on the tray, she had to end them, " who are you?", the deep cold question brought her back to reality, but for now she had to put on an act, a maid obediently serving her , Eun Chen plastered a fake smile and bowed her head to Min yu, " I am the maid of Master Lee Kwon, it's pleasure to finally meet you your Highness, my name is So ra" , she said , her head still bowed to the floor, Min yu looked at her curiously, "your dialect is different and you don't look like you are from around here, where did your master get you from", he asked curiously, he sure was observant and sharp eyed, at that moment she heard the door open behind her, then she heard Lee Kwon speak, " she was running away from her previous master when I found her, her master was a merchant from Jeong du, she begged me to take her in so I did", said Lee Kwon looking at Eun Chen, he gave her a soft smile then placed his hand on Eun Chen shoulder, " what was he up to", wondered Eun Chen, " So ra go inside, wait for me there", said Lee Kwon, his smile was assuring yet suspicious but she had to play along, so that she will be saved from this sharp eyed prince, she smiled and bowed her head, " yes Master, I will wait for you at your chambers ", said Eun Chen bowing down to Lee Kwon, then she turned over meeting the suspicious and untrusting gaze of Min yu, she bowed her head to him and completely walked over to Lee Kwon chambers closing the door behind her, she sighed then glared, the crown prince was already suspecting her when she had not tried anything, what more if she did start, Lee Kwon recognized her immediately, it won't take much time for her to be found out by the crown prince, and unlike Lee Kwon, her life won't be soared by Min yu, " I have to gat my sword and get out of here", she said to herself

(Back in the halls)

" Father wants us to have a family dinner today, are you coming?", asked Min yu, Lee kwon folded his hand with a small smile on his face, " you know how family dinner always turns out when I'm there...", said Lee Kwon, "then do you want Seugh min and I to come over and have dinner with you", asked Min yu, " will your mom be happy about that", asked Lee Kwon, Min yu placed his hand on his waist, "obviously...., no", he said, there was silence for a while before both of them couldn't control themselves and burst out laughing, after they had both laughed to their heart content, they both hugged each other, "welcome home,..... brother", said Lee Kwon, Min yu patted his brother slightly on his back, then depaeted from his embrace, " I see you were busy, I andseugh min will come again this evening and enjoy dinner with you", said Min yu, " it's okay, eat with the King and Queen, I doubt if I will be free later tonight,......, I also heard about Eun Chen attack, are you alright", asked Lee Kwon, " I'm okay, but we lost most of ouren though, she is really skilled in combat and swordsmanship, I could only subdue her with the phoenix stone, but she escaped from that too, she is in Gwengochan right now, but we can't find her", said Min yu. Lee Kwon placed his hand on Min yu shoulder as a source of comfort, "she still has the mark on her chest, I'm sure you will find her soon", said Lee Kwon, Min yu smiled then his face grew curious , " that maid,.....she looked so familiar", said Min yuas if trying to wrap his fingers around her identity, " don't worry,.....the royal eye didn't skip, even if I am a bastard, I personally checked her and I can swear there are no signs of the mark, you can trust me on that", said Lee Kwon, there was a moment of silence before Min yu smiled, " of course, we are brothers, I trust you".

" It looks like Min yu is still suspicious of you even if I told him I personally checked you and you were clear", said Lee Kwon, "that means I will have to leave by tonight, I can't leave without my sword though", said Eun Chen looking at Lee Kwon, he could be useful now, "you will open the relics room for me tonight, I will get my sword, you don't have to worry about me after that, I can escape on my own", said Eun Chen almost confidently, Lee Kwon folded his hand as he looked at her with a grin on his face, "do you think it will be easy for you to enter the relics room more over escaping, tsk,....you should know better as one that is great at ambushing people, the guards are on high alert on Eun Chen, and you climbing over that wall.....", his eyes narrowed as he came closer to her, " won't that even be more suspicious ", said Lee kwon, Eun Chen bowed her head, she won't be able to escape if the guard were situated there, she needed to cause a distraction so that she will lead all the guards both away from the relics room and the escape route, she smirked a little, "don't worry, I have a plan but first,.....", her eyes lowered to the knife strapped on Lee Kwon belt, before Lee Kwon could interprete what was about to happen, Eun Chen in the blink of an eye took the knife from his strap, then used it to slit his wrist.

Lee Kwon was in pain because if the slit, but he was at the same time shocked at this sudden action, " what are you doing", asked Lee Kwon holding his slit wrist which was dripping out blood, but Eun did not answer, she used the same knife and slit her palm, looking at Lee Kwon, she walked up to him placing her bleeding palmon his bleeding wrist, " the only way to open the relics room is if you are of royal blood, I will just borrow your blood and title for a while", she said smirking, dumbfounding Lee kwon, she removed her hand from his wrist and quickly walked over to his window to check, opening it, she looked outside if anyone was there, when she saw no one was there, she looked at Lee Kwon, looking down at his belt, it was made from pure gold and a rare kind of blemished leather, " tsk...., royalties never have lesser quality,...., I want that", she said pointing at his belt , Kwon sighed then smirked removing his belt , he threw it at her which she caught, " do you know how much trouble you will be in, you almost killed the Kings son, and you also stole from the Kings son, both could earn you a death pr alty", said Kwon, " harboring an assasin will also earn you a death penalty, thank you for saving me at the market,...but I hope we will never see each other again", and with that she jumped off from the window and soon after she was gone, Kwon smirked , " we will surely be seeing each other again sooner than you had expected".

He was right the guards were much, security was tight, Eun Chen clenched the lining cloth on her hand, if she could pull the guards from their post at the wall, she will be able to go to the relics room leaving them a false trail, she will take her sword, regain her powers, get the mark off her chest and finally escape from here, she took the black linen cloth and used it to cover half of her face, her hair already packed in a bun, Lee Kwon belt fastened on her waist, once she enters Gwendo village, she will need money to go back to Dahkyegon, which was really far, so it might be quite costly, she nodded to herself, it was pretty dark already, torches were lit at the entrance. She needed to find a way to lose them, she heaved and stepped out of the shadows and turned to the guards who saw her immediately, " there..., there is Eun Chen!", immediately the gates opened as more guards came in, a horn was blown to indicate that there was trouble , it was also a signal to the palace.

Eun Chen began running as some of the guards began chasing her, while some went to the palace to alert the King, Queen and crown princes, most of the guards left the post chasing after the masked assasin, she didn't know Gwengochan very well, this was her first time here, but two things she knew was she had to lose at the left wing of Gwengochan which wasn't too far, from there she is in the premises of the palace , not far off from the relics room, just some gossip and she got all the information that she could formulate into a plan, the guards chased her fervently shouting for her to stop in the name of the King, but she just scoffed, they chased her down to Gwengochan forest, suddenly there was something that swiftly passed the side of her face, the near proximity was insane, then it struck a tree nearby, an arrow!, " SHOOT...!!", yelled a man that looked like he was the one in charge, there came a swarm of arrows, she squinted her eyes , "squinting your eyes makes any opponent or anything charging towards you to move at a slower pace", a thought crawled into her head, she dodged each arrow, somersaulting backwards, twisting her body in a defensive manner, the arrow soon topped coming, then she heard again, "SHOOT....", that voice, it was Min yu, she knew she had to leave before the swarms came in again, she looked over at some trees, most of the had been struck by arrows, using the roots as a base, she skillfully held onto an arrow, swung herself up to the highest branch. She must have lost her powers, but her skills were still there.

She looked down as they all looked at her in shock and bewilderment, , she looked down smirking behind her linen mask, she began jumping from branch to branch, swinging athletically through every branch, while the soilders were fervently chasing her with Min yu up in front, he was fast but she was faster, she paused at a distance taking out two hair pins that were holding up her hair, throwing it towards the soilders, which mercilessly thrust into two men who were up in front, one on the shoulder, and the other on his chest, Min yu who had enough swiveled his hand in the air, particles of water formulating in his hand, each coming but by but, forming a large ball, he threw it at the branch where Eun Chen was, making it to break instantly causing her to fall on the ground, she groaned in pain, suddenly a sword was pointed at her, " take off your mask*, said Min yu coldly, "surrender in the name of the King", said Min yu in a commanding tone, she knew this was the end, finding her out now was not what she planned at all, but she refused to surrender, she wasn't going down like this, she will fight to death, her eyes caught an arrow which had been shot at a tree, she raised her head slightly, the sword still pointed directly at her,looking at the sword and th plunged arrow at the tree, they were of near proximity

All of a sudden there was some noises being made from the back, clashing of swords and shouts, she could see Min yu face twist in confusion at the noise, then one of his men yelled from the back, " your Highness, some men are attacking us", Min yu clenched his sword, " handle that, I will handle Eun Chen", he said as he raised his sword as to strike her, Eun Chen squinted her eyes, then leaot on her feet, somersaulting backwards, she took the arrow that was plunged at the tree and threw it at Min yu which luckily only scrapped his arm, and with that little time he was distracted, she took off.
